    alright ill be getting my HO alternator tomorrow. its a 260amp/165 idle iraggi alt. im planning on connecting my front yellowtop to a hc2400 that i will put at the back. do i also need to run a negative wire from the yellowtop to the hc2400?

    yahh me too bro. i have been waiting for my iraggi alternator. i got the tracking information on monday, its supposed to get delivered today but still it says "billing information received".... and dom doesn't even reply to my emails... oh god...

    i have no idea.. but i called them and asked what the idle output is... the guy didn't know so he looked it up to this socalled book. he said it reaches 200amp at 7k RPM. wtf and it only goes 40amp on 500 rpm.. so i ended up going to ebay and bought a 240amp amputator, paid it already + 2 day shipping. i hope iraggi sees it... i really need it BADLY

    im planning to go all out on the alternator.. i have emailed excessive amperage,iraggi and HOalternators, haven't received any replys from them yet... i do need it ASAP but i don't want to buy a stock one cause ill end up replacing it when i upgrade.... i was looking at this powermaster alternator but it costs $313 + $42 (because of this harness) and only $25 on one day air shipping. do you think it will be alright if i go with that?

    i just got it checked, my alternator is fucked up. i need to replace it now... oh god.

    update: i just replaced my yellowtop today, maybe the alternator didn't charge it. so i got a new one(again) but this time i took out the 1/0 ground wires. so everything is stock wiring now. but i still get the battery indicator light right now... this is pissing me off. i might have to go to autozone to get it checked

    i just replaced it with an optima yellowtop... i was supposed to buy a kinetik but i need to have a ride immediately.. so i had no choice but to buy one from autozone..

    yeah.. but i noticed like maybe 4 hours before i left my keyless entry horn sounded a bit off.

    but i don't see any black wire with red strip on the positive terminal of my battery?

    on the (+) stock battery there are only red wires connected. on the (+) stock battery there are only red wires connected. see the black wire with a little red stripe on? that is where i connected the 1/0 wire to the positive in the battery do you think that is the right spot?
