And insurence is not for "sellers peace of mind" its for the buyers. Sorry but why the fuck would insurence exist for the seller? What so he can make MORE money when they sell something, by claiming damage??
Point here is people whont pay when they arent forced to. I have tried being nice and as for the 350/150 I DID tell you "if they settle for 500 let me know and we can work something out. All I need is enough to cover a recone. I dont think that should be over 350 so u can keep the rest." So THAT in a out of context way is correct. Talk to treo and find out 500 not 350.
Either pay and make shit right or dont. There is a vast difference of opinions here and they are from a variety of people. In your mind and inside of u as a man u know you would expect someone to make shit right if they sent u something and it got fucked in shipping. You wouldnt expect to pay out of your own pocket.
One final note.....................YOU NEVER EVEN ASKED ABOUT COIN FOR INSURENCE but I could swear it said in the opening post you 'edited' the 12th of Nov for whatever reason (LOL) you said shipped via FedEx insured.

1) Testing is finally getting done beacuse the ONLY person around here who's system I trust to use for a test is just getting back from out of town thats why its getting done now.
2) You NEVER asked for a video or proof of the damage beacuse i OFFERED the pictures. You shipped it like shit, you got paid. I gave you the pics for Fedex to get proof of the subs bend. If you used them (which you claimed on the phone you did) then they saw the issue and paid you for MY ITEM.
3) speaking of paying you, you never even gave me a fucking chance to file. You were on the phone with them after i took pics and sent them.........Try that one again son.
4) I did NOTHING illegal nor anything wrong. I paid for the sub and its mine. As such the insurence is mine.
5) Paying for the insurence.............YOU NEVER EVEN ASKED IF I WOULD PAY FOR THAT!!!!............You offered the insurence in your goddamned auction!!!!! I would have GLADLY paid an extra 20 bucks or so for the insurence.

With Tooshort saying he wanted me to now test the VC (as written in a previous post) I will test the VC tomorrow. I have a friend with a lil ol JL amp to freeair test it for me. This way we can see how she moves. If all is good I will reply as such. If its bad I will post a video of my findings and let you all see any VC damage that may or may not have occured.

heres the point he paid for a sub that was in good condition...it got fucked up in transaction through fed-ex. now that i look at it (i didnt look at it this way at first) but this quote right here...is 100% correct.
godsmack should get the full refund but it was settled for the $70 refund which should have been paid A WHILE back. tooshort if you got the money for the claim then you should have NO issue giving him the insurance let alone the $70 refund.
if theres not a settlement soon (which i said this before and was lied to since it was never taken care of though promised to be paid at the end of the week which that week has passed yet again long ago) i will take further action and short i will have to remove you from the forum.
sorry but first of all saying you will pay it, then NOT paying it..then me saying soemthing about it and you promising to pay it and still not paying it...kinda pisses me off so thats 2 people that you have lied to.
Dude I appriciate your thoughts here and am glad you now see what I was attempting to say but couldnt get my mind right to say. As for the 70 dollar 'settlement' that was not something I agreed to. It was something I was told I would get and should consider myself lucky to even get.

If it is that important get a rubber mallot and get to work if it bent it can unbend if you don't want to spend any extra money. I don't think a basket will run that much.
I agree on a basket not being much money. MY issue here is I paid for a Treo CSX Quad 2 ohm sub. In order to replace the basket your gonna need to re-cone. I paid for Treo, I therefore want Treo. For a Quad CSX (which WAS NOT a stock option) it needs to be sent in since it was (in Treo's words) a "custom built competition sub and has sub specific parameters."
I own the sub, and he gets paid for FedEx's choice to pay. They got his opinion, and mine and made a judgement.
In respense to his 600w rms free air pay attention to the video, NO BATTERY in my CRX!!!! That would mean nothing to test with. Sorry but I have not put anything in my Xterra and as of now I have no plans to either.
You got paid and left me with the bullshit to deal with. I have done everything you requested and still couldnt be bothered to pay. Hell you even agreed you saw the bend when I sent you the pictures. If you disagreed with my thoughts on the bend, YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE FILED THE CLAIM, AND LEFT THAT TO ME. And keep talkin that E-Thug shit. ok you made a video.... but didnt show the damage???? why ??? put the sub into a sub cutout and show everyone its bent (i took it as the mounting flange is what is bent) if its bent it wont sit flush with the wood
Oh and the video was made due to him wanting video to see the crx and the 10kw amp

I think a perfect solution to this would be that the seller return the money that the winner paid. 1 Spot was $10 so $10 is owed end of debate. If all of the money that was paid fpr the sub raffle is reimbursed then EVERYONE should be paid back! just my 2 cents but I am just a rational bystander.

You wanna throw out what I have for audio gear? Get on it. I have ZERO issues with pics of it all going up with my username.
You have seen the pics. People here can draw their own conclusions, and FedEx gave me the info with ZERO issues. All while them being told it was the RECIEVER NOT THE SENDER (AKA ME NOT YOU)
The reason I mentioned a visit is beacuse I would really love to sit down and discuss this face to face. Get the claims file from FedEx (not hard to get) and discuss what you sent them, what you told them and why you got the money.
As for me filing the claim, you called and filed it as soon as you heard it arrived damaged. I offered to do it, but you were not willing to go that route as you had already opened it.
Point is you fucked me here, you made more than double what the 'contest' brought you and Karma will catch up with you.

It is ILLEGAL to enforce state equipment laws on a vehicle registered and tagged from another state. I fought this when I first moved to AZ from NY.
Cop tried telling me my underbody lights were illegal. In NY they WERE legal at the time. Judge threw it out, since my truck was tagged in NY.

BTW sounds like he made out pretty damn good. Profits from the raffle and the return from Fedex/UPS or whatever. Nothing like turning something you didnt want into a grand.

MTX is fixing it for free and will give me a second one for my troubles once i find the right formula for not blowing up. If i could, i'd go to a single larger amp for all 4-12s but until than the 1501D is my amp of choice. I'd really like a Rockford amp though lol

Eh the legality is debatable.............honestly
I mean it could be seen as we bought a number and a number was chosen at random (which IS legal) and as such i think i could.........Military lawyers are GREAT at finding loopholes when a civilian fucks a Soldier over.

Yea quad 2 ohm recone with shipping to and from Treo is 500 bones. And they REFUSE to sell kits for this as the Quad CSX is a CUSTOM sub

As many of you know Tooshort064 created a "contest" that we later learned would no longer be allowed here. Below is an account of what happened;
I recieved my Treo CSX 18" Quad 2 ohm in shitty shipped shape. The box was 110% hot garbage and arrived late. When I first called him out on it he got defensive but through the power of pictures he could see where the lip of the basket was slightly bent, and that FedEx had fucked his box up.
Through our conversations he informed me he would file claim and give me the claim money. He also informed me he had sent me a MUCH better packed box than what I had recieved. Well after his dodging me he finally tells me due to issues he has he settled for about 130 dollars, and he couldnt call me beacuse a box truck ran over his phone. The 70 I paid for tickets (aka the item as he put it) and the 60 he spent to ship it. I accepted it at first and then thought better of it. After calling FedEx and talking with a claims person I found out he was actually reimbursed 560. The item was insured at 500 dollars.
After many phone calls I got the mods involved. After some rigermarole and some bullshit he decides to tell the mods I was claiming I was him to FedEx, that I was trying to commit fraud, etc......I even was the one to take pictures and send them to him. The pics were so good to FedEx they didnt even come get the box (which is still in my living room if anyone needs a new picture).....My main arguement here is that if you pay 500 bucks for a car, fully insure it and total it you get the full insurence money not just what you paid for the car. As such I should recieve the full 500. Let him keep his precious shipping money.
Well low and behold now I cant even get the 70 back I 'paid' for the sub. This is bullshit and he is a scam artist. People like him make it impossible to do business on the internet.
Chode feel free to chime in on what I may have left out. This shit makes my blood boil so remembering every last detail is a PITA.

Well I have just read this fuckin thing from start to finish (minus PT time and a shower after) and GODDAMN this thing is amazing. I am really looking forward to videos. With any luck I can make it to daytona this year, especially since I am planning on being in Tampa around that time for my 25th birthday.
