  1. sounds rough man, I would love to see a build log if you do it yourself

If I do it myself I will absolutely make a build log but I just feel like it will be a huge waste of money and time to mess it all up then have to pay to have it done. If I just throw down the money I know it will be done properly and come out well and sound good the first time. I guess the question will be how many times can I attempt it myself before it equals how much it will cost to have someone else do it.

  2. This is what I am planning on. This spring Ill be getting a new truck. 2011 or 2012 (makes no difference same body) Silverado ext cab. I want to get 3 dc level 3 10's under the rear seat without sacrificing any passenger space. Im thinking the top and front face of the box can be wood with the rest fiberglassed to contour the floor and get every inch of usable space. I'd like it ported as well. I have been thinking about trying to do it myself because Ive watched a bunch of videos and seen builds on here start to finish but Im not sure its something I can handle without ever doing anything like it. So about how much would it cost for me to attempt it or AROUND how much could I expect to pay a shop or an enclosure builder to have it done?

  3. So pissed off right now. I didnt go away this weekend because were getting hit with a hurricane tonight and like I said fed ex was going to try to deliver today... I was out late last night and stayed at my girls place woke up at 10 this morning had a cup of coffee and got home at 10 20 to find a god damn door tag from 10:16 at my house... really fed ex weekdays I have to wait until 4-5 pm to get a delivery and today its at 10 am so now I have to wait until tuesday like I said because they dont do residential deliveries on mondays and dont deliver sunday at all

  4. to wire in a second battery you can either run + to + and - to - and upgrade the ground on the stock battery or +to+ and ground the second battery VERY good to the frame sanded down very solid if your new to this i recommend just wiring the batteries together it will be easiest and you dont need to worry about making a ground for the second battery depending on the power you run either add another run of 4 gauge wire from the stock battery to ground or upgrade it to 1/0 gauge and dont forget to put at least one fuse on the + run

  5. I have an 06 silverado and I run an audioque 2200 with the big 3 an iraggi :nea: 240 amp alt with a yellowtop in addition to my stock battery. I usually rest from 14.6-15 volts and at full tilt I usually drop .3 volts so when I was running 2 2200s strapped i didnt drop below 13.2 and thats with a smaller HO alt and a lower end battery+stock. the alt you have stock in there should be probably 130-140 amps which is a good stock alt I would go with a nice battery first. either replace the stock battery with the better one and add the stock back in somewhere under the hood or get a not huge battery and add it to your stock (obviously do the big 3 either wway)

  6. and yes i am mad. wouldnt you be? when i ordered it i was told 6 weeks max..not 20 weeks.thx <3

No because as a consumer I know I have the choice to purchase something else. You chose to wait. They aren't holding you hostage on a deal

Agreed, People need to stop complaining so much. Of course its frustrating to wait for things. Its out of everyones hands, they build the subs asquick as they can without comprimising quality and as quick as the parts come to them. Give them the benefit of the doubt that they are working hard to get it done. In the end were all getting some quality woofers.
