When my buddy bought my old set up off me I set the settings up and told him not to change them. Needless to say his buddy who obviously knows more than I do flipped the little switch that said bass boost and turned the gain to max. Three weeks later hes calls me and says the subs smell funny and get really hot. I check the setting and turned them back and said don't adjust these. But his friend who obviously knows more than me changed them again. Hello black coils. Only part that pissed me off was he then tried saying I sold him bad shit when the subs finally took a shit. Need less to say I don't talk to the guy and more.

I had this problem with my mf300. It would shut off when it was up pretty loud. I re-did my ground wire and it hasn't happened since. Might not be the cause but I would check it. I sanded down the paint and then grounded it. I do that for my sub amps but didn't for this amp for some reason.

I've got mud all in my engine bay. But thats from off-roading. How do the carpets look like towards the bottom are there any stains that look like possible water damage on the inside?

Sucks being with out any bump, but could be worse. It could be summer when everyone is bumpin their music and makes you think of how shitty it feels not to have any.
At work any time i hear that low sub beat, I look around to where its coming from lol Stupid i know....
I used to do that at my old work.
Also Its been about 3 months or so for this last time. IDK about longest stretch though. Only thing that kep me going is looking at my amp and knowing my subs will be hear soon and the wait will be worth it.

50 bucks your lucky. Ours is 125, Ive paid it 3 times so far. I also was a DB driver.

I'm a couple months without bass. I get so sad when my buddy comes over since he has all my old equipment. Only thing that helps me not go crazy is to pull out the new amp and look at her and just imagine when the new build all done. Hate only making 8.75 an hr.

Just throw the ipod away, buy a zune, and never worry about it again.
Had one once. Then I realized I missed My iPod so I sold it to a buddy and bought a 120gig iPod never been happier. Plus I like how I don't have to bring in my iPod to charge it and can scroll my music on my CD player verses picking up the zune and searching on that, the direct iPod controls just make it easier.

What if it connects through an Ipod jack. Like your comp does and you can scroll the music on the CD player it self. Is this still something to worry about. It doesn't matter what my Ipod volume is at, it is controlled by the CD player. I never thought of this even being a problem.
Edit: Would the EQ settings on the Ipod still come into effect and I should keep them at flat/off still.

I like Toyota, taken a few classes one is a Toyota based class. I think they did good on the recall. The parts that were bad were from an American company trying to save money and they changed the design of the original part. I like how you are all quick to bash Toyota on this but if you didn't know ford purchased the same product from the same company and has the same problem on some of there cars and I don't see them doing this big of a recall to make sure they all get fixed.
Its like when they had the sludge problem Toyota put new engines in thousand of cars. Even cars with 200,00 miles received new engines.

I believe its one of those silent noises. I hear it all the time whenever a TV's on until the TV goes off. Even if its in another room I can hear it. Over time as we get older MOST NOT ALL of us won't even be able to hear it. That's why your parents don't hear it or know what your talking about. In some countries high end businesses will play these tones to keep school children out of there stop and from shop lifting. They have a tester for this that produces one of these tones, my buddy brought it to my psych class one day when we were discussing body changes over time.He played it in the middle of class. All the kids heard it but none of the older people or the teacher heard it.

Its the twilight hack. You need an SD card and a copy of the Zelda game twilight game but once its on your console you don't need the game anymore. so you could borrow or rent it. but I believe there's two different writings of the game like an a and b versions both have different hacks.
