  1. Alright I guess I lied, Im sorry. After listening to my speakers for awhile they still make the noise that goes along with my rpm. When I turned down the gain it just made it alittle quieter. Im still not sure how to get rid of it COMPLETELY. Any other Ideas?
  2. I moved my grounds....Didnt do anything. But I did adjust my GAIN setting on the amp and I guess I had them alittle to high, lol. Because I turned them down and the noise went away. Sounds good now.
  3. Probably is a ground problem.....My Grand Cherokee is mostly made of plastic, lol. Also all the seat belt brackets and exsisting bolts have some kind of sealant/Taffy like stuff around them. Maybe Ill Check all my Grounds tomorrow. I hope thats all it is. The speakers sound great Turned up, I just dont want that noise there when I first turn my Jeep on or if Happen to be driving with out Music. And if its not the grounds Ill have to run a RCA from the sub out on the deck and try that I guess.
  4. My Deck only has one end for Sub out, not two. Im guessing I will need a Y adapter and then run the RCAs from that to the amp?
  5. Nope, that didnt do anything. But I did notice that when I just have the RCA's into my 4 channel amp the noise is reduced. But when I plug in another RCA into the output of my 4 channel and into the input of my Hifonics Mono the noise is there. Any ideas?
  6. Hmm...I do have my RCA ran along with my power wire. I guess Ill check that first.
  7. I just put in my Tweeters and 6.5 Infinity REF speakers and when the volume is off or low they make a high pitched sound. The sound is almost like a little jet engine or something, and also when I press on my gas the noise gets louder and then when the gear changes it drops back down = Very annoying. If anyone has any idea on how to fix this I would Appretiate it alot.
  8. Alrighty. Well when I get some money im gonna try it. Thank you guys for the help.
  9. 6.5's are 2 ohm. Also "daisychaining" the tweets and 6.5's is going to divide the power, right? ex: RMS power of amp 75 watts x 4 @ 2 ohm would give 37.5 watts to each set?
  10. Getting confused haha.....SO, the speakers are both 2 ohm. and if I use a seperate channel for the 6x9's then hook up both the tweeters and 6.5's to the same channel and just set the amp's filter to HPF it wouldnt hurt the speakers? and they should sound fine?
  11. Wait....Since the tweeters say they come with a 2,500 Hz passive in-line crossover, wouldnt I be able to just hook them up to the front channel along with the 6.5's and not have to worry about anything?
  12. mmmkk....that'll work. Any advice on finding some crossovers? The speakers are the Infinity REF9622i 6x9's --Infinity REF1021t Tweeters and Infinity REF6022i 6.5's. The crossovers are the things im having a problem finding.
  13. How would I hook up a pair of 6.5's, a pair of 6x9's and a pair of tweeters all to the same amp? 6 Channel amp?
