  1. Looks Great! Nice job....especially for doing everything on your own. I'd love to hear it or at least see a video
  2. For the inside you could probably use some of the White FRP paneling thats carried by Home Depot. Its the kind of paneling you'd see in a bathroom, Its not smooth, has a texture to it. Use the Liquid Nail FRP to put it up or I believe you use plastic rivots so there are no screws and then caulk the edges.
  3. Well I finally got everything in and Hooked up. Had a small problem getting the correct amp I bought...but It got straightened out and now everything is working! They sound Great! Just real clean sounding. Honestly I didn't expect them to sound as good as they do. So im extremely satisfied. I also put some Second Skin Damplifier Pro on my back doors and I have more to put on the front doors ( SECOND SKIN FTMFW!!!) but thats going to have its own thread. Big 8ga Knukonceptz amp wiring kit Soldered the speaker wire to the terminals, also soldered all my ring and spade terminals on the wire. Amps under the seat both Alpine. MRP-F250 powering all the speakers, MRP-M450 Powering the Subs. Sorry for the Crappy Vids but its all I got!
  4. I'd like to thank ANT and Second Skin Audio for making such great products and also giving them away for free since I won a door pack (13 sq. Ft.) of Damplifer Pro from Promo #3 I used only Three of Six sheets to do both of my back doors. I have another companies product on my front doors from awhile ago but will be adding some Damplifier pro to them as well. The Damplifer Pro is GREAT!! Thick Stuff and Sticks to the door really well. This is what arrived at my door! Didn't get a roller with it, but I guess you have to purchase that separately...Good thing my brother had one Heres the door with the panel off. Before I put the damplifer on I removed all the wires and wiped the metal down with denatured alcohol. Some on the outside More on the inside and here is my passanger side all done. It was pretty dang hot outside so I wasn't thrilled to be outside doing this, but I hurried and got it done, I dont think I did to bad of a job. I will DEFINITELY be purchasing more of this product in the future!!
  5. I know this doesn't help you at all with your problem.....but It could prevent this from happening in the future. Have your lights painted by a professional painter. Looks 100x better than those covers and will let the light through alot better also.
  6. Sweet. Ill have to check yours out! I have plenty of pics and vids of the old setup. Here >> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...ls%2001%20grand Pay no attention to the pics of my actual jeep though!! those are way old. Here is a somewhat Current pic. lol. It is a huge downgrade but I think Ill be happy with it. Glad I didn't completely disappoint you. Thanks.
  7. It better sound damn good. Ive never really messed with Sealed boxes before....so we will see. I just ordered my 8 Gauge amp wiring kit from Knuconceptz so Ill get that ran and then Ill order the amp in acouple weeks. haha yeah it was awhile ago I think you missed it Thank you.
  8. Thanks! Ive done alot of reading and watching other builds involving fibergalss. Also my brother Menace89 (with his blacked out Sonata) has done some fiberglassing so I learned alot from him also. So I felt pretty confident they would come out decent when I was done. The hardest part for me was wrapping the carpet....but I can't complain, that wasn't to bad.
  9. I appreciate the comment! Thanks. I have never heard the primes before. I only went with them because they had such a clean look to them and had the power rating I was looking for in a sub for this setup. Nothing is hooked up yet. Ill let you know what I think of them once I get them powered
  10. I put together a 1 cu. ft. box out of cardboard. Then Ill get some packing peanuts or something similar and fill the sub enclosure. Then Ill pour that into the 1 Cu. Ft box and it'll show me how big they are. Ill show the amp when I get it. But it'll be mounted under the rear seats next to my 4ch alpine.
  11. Thanks. Im not sure yet on stuffing them. I still need to find out exactly how big they are lol. Ill play around with it once I get everything hooked up.
  12. New sub compared to my old 18" DC lvl 4....well just the recone Im using some T-Nuts and Socket Head screws to secure the subs. Box's all Done!
  13. This is where the boxes will be secured to the sides so they dont move around. I bought acouple washers and some longer screws to replace the tie down loop.
  14. Im taking a big step down from my previous set up which I sold. I just wanted something for daily use that wouldn't take up to much room in the cargo area. Im using Two 10" Rockford Fosgate R1 Prime series. They will both be powered by a single Alpine MRP-M450 so the subs will be getting close to 200rms when I wire them to 2 ohms. Here are some pics of the boxes I just finished fiberglassing. ...this is also my first time fiberglassing a box, so keep any negative shit you feel like saying to yourself
  15. ^^ That list FTW! Ill add acouple: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDsa6-xluHk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZwcNu1xg_A http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jbxi9hxctk8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1K7fL5s_1ac
  16. The alternator will fit your 4.7L limited. I have been talking with another member that is interested so Ill have to find out if he still needs its first.
  17. Just sent a pm to Dom. Let you know when I get a response.
  18. Great buyer. Sent payment right away. Great communication also. A+++
  19. ....and as requested. Even though its not uninstalled yet. Should be in the next week or so.
  20. Doubt it. I was told pretty much anything below 00' It most likely wont fit.
