  1. Ill have to see how much I can get a maxlink for. It'll make things alittle easier. For now I might do some testing and try and get the amps set the same. They are almost dead on right now I believe.

I get that problem at high volumes even with master/slave....I think it may be the tradeoff for not using a separator in the box

You have yours hooked up to two or one amp? Cause this is the first time this has happened to me with the subs moving differently sometimes. First time running two amps to two subs also.

  2. id set your amps with a scope for the most precise tuning.

Or buy a maxlink to strap your amps together.

Its normally not a big deal, but using two seperate amps on 2 seprate subs sharing the same airspace is not good unless everything is matched.

Hmm yeah I tried seting both amps exactly the same, But other than that, its correct? I might have to get a maxxilink. I notice sometimes when it hits low I kinda see one sub moving when the other isnt....That cant be good and it scars me :) Thats why Im asking.

  3. I have my Two Dc lvl 4's and each has its own Bxi1606D powering them. These amps dont have master/slave, So would I just hook the amps up like normal to the subs and then just have my Rca connecting the two amps?

Btw: the subs are sharing the air space in One box...

Is there anything special about wiring the subs up for this?

  4. nope, you may want to double check the tensioner, when they are on the way out they can make noises or just have the wheel fall off... that might be the problem if its close to the alt and youre just thinking its the alt since its new

Tensioner is actually right under the alt. Never thought about that. Ill check it out tomorrow also. Thanks for the replys. I hope its that damn tensioner

  5. Hmm.. Yeah its an 01 and does have a tensioner. Im 99% sure its comming from the alt. Its fine while driving or anything over 1000 rpm, but as soon as it goes below that I can hear the noise. Maybe tomorrow Ill go out and check the belt just to make sure. Could it have anything to do with the size of the pully that came with it and I should change to my stock one?
