Mine broke and I just left it off, It wasn't helping me at all. I wish the metal would have fallen off the glass with it though, your lucky
But like everyone else said, they make a special glue just for holding that medal piece on to the glass. Good luck.

I only have Airline for my horns. But I used some Copper line around my engine compartment, it also runs close to the exhaust (Found that out the hard way). Stuff gets expensive though.
