United States 06/07/2011 6:34 P.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

    Is it there yet.....

I think I heard it roar by on it's way through Texas!

  2. KW coilovers ride great! My good friend has a set in his PT, and even with it set very low, it rides a lot better than my PT does with H&R springs.

I say you do the suspension first, take your time to decide on the exhaust because you can't exactly adjust the exhaust like you can the coilovers.

  3. Ok I have been reading a lot and emailing Fi. I now see that my intended ratio and that large box would have been really peaky - not what I wanted at all. So thanks for steering me into more reading. Think I am on the right track now, just have to play with the calculators some more.

  4. Ok emailed Fi and they say 2 18" Q's with high QTS option will work, but I need to tune to control a peak in the 50-60hz range. I have read that a 45hz tune is low for a 4th order, do I need to tune that low to control the peak? vs say a 55 hz tune.

    What do you guys think?

  5. Thanks guys! Looks like everyone has/has had/recommends the larger end of what Fi web says. I think I will be just shy of the 4 cu ft per sub mark when I account for the port and sub displacement, but I can work with that.

This is for a planned rebuild of the PT this summer.

  6. Ok, would like to hear from the Fi Q15 people out there. What seems to work for enclosure size for ported?

Fi website shows Ported box: 2.8-4 cuft @ 28-33Hz

How do these perform in the smaller 2.8 vs the larger 4.0 cu ft box? My tune will be somewhere between 33-38hz. 4 of them with ~4400 watts.
