One question, is it fine to use the D2400 with 12.3V and just have the car charge it?

Box of the XP3000. The battery doesn't look damage with any cosmetics. I probably won't install the XP3000 until I get my DC Power 270A Alt unless you guys know it would be fine to run it now with the stock 90A Alt and with my current 1200W system.

Did this just recently happen, or has it always been like this? And if you go in and check the parts where it's clipped you should be able to tell whether it's the bass that's actually clipped or just the mids/highs. If it still looks like a sine wave where the bass hits instead of just flat areas at the top/bottom of the wave then it should just be the mids/highs clipping.i don't know why but all my music is clipped to hell in audacity even my decaf stuff please help

I'm kinda curios too! What would it look like in the Windows Media Player Scope? I know how to look for square waves but not too sure on for mids/highs.

Make sure to check your headunit that bassboost is off. Everytime you disconnect your battery, the damn HU goes back to stock settings with bassboost auto on.
I've also noticed another weird thing with my Kenwood headunit this: "Supreme" option was On and I had to go back and turn it off. Not sure wtf that option is for.

Hmm. That is pretty weird. It also came with extras fo those fuses.
Also, who do I contact for regarding customer service? Do I contact PPI or SonicElectronix if I have questions regarding an install?

So it wouldn't be a problem hooking up the D series batts with the XP series if they're all in the trunk?

There shouldn't be. I'm going to hook up the XS D2400 under the hood with the XP3000 in the trunk.

Class D amp so it is on the smaller side, plus i like the 1/0 to 4ga. adapter they include with it.
EDIT: Just waiting on my set of the last JBL P660C they had. GO GO UPS
The adapter is pretty cool. I wish all amps come with it.

Since everyone will be buying a trunk battery soon, I figured it would be useful to have a topic on how to properly install a 2nd battery. I've read on google that having a battery in the trunk not properly secured is dangerous when you get into an addident. They say that it's possible for the battery to break through the back seat upon a collision.
Also do I have to worry about ventilation for the battery? XP3000 to be specific.
Post your suggestions please.

Well, I've just hooked up the D2400 and it is only readin 14.2 to 14.3 with the engine on. My yellow top was reading 14.5V so what's going on?
