Not sure if I need 1 or all 3, trying to keep 1 brand for as much as possible, I have all tower amps, 2xdtr1.3400D and 3xdtr4.680, soundstream hi's mids midbass, I've always just ran a basic 3way electronic crossover, but I want to do it right this time. Any advice or info is greatly appreciated.

  2. Hello my brother has a ford ranger with a box that has exactly 8ft of air space and a MMATS 1400RMS amp, would 2 SSD15's or 1 BL18 flex harder?

    2nd question:

Will 4" PVC pipe work for the ports? if so how long and how many should we use?

    Thank you.

  3. Get the 2500 one, you'll be able to get a cleaner 2000 watts with that. (Meaning you can push the amp less hard, therefore less distortion)

Goliath it is! I can get them for around 950-1k$ each and might run 4 btl18's and 2 goliath's, then again might try 2 btl18's first and add 2 more later.

  4. I have decided if I am going FI that I need to go BtL over BL, and need some help on the RMS figures. I know Steve runs 4kRMS per 18 and does very well, but how do these subs respond to only 2krms each? I have heard they can eat up 10krms each and keep going. Do you need the full options to run higher power? Will the differance of 2krms to each versus 3krms or 4krms to each be that massive? This is a Daily driver vehicle. I am planning on running Hifonics amps. Thanks for any advice.

  5. WTB: Custom box for 4 18" Fi:BL's

I want it vented, thinking vent facing the back and 4 subs firing straight up. Not sure if this will out-perform a wall, but i want to flex, and this is a daily driver.

subs are 1000watts RMS I will be putting 1200 watts on each. Not sure of the frequency I need, but 45hz sounds too high, possibly round 30-35hz. I want to hit decent numbers, and flex the hell out of my SUV.
