4 tens is still less cone area then 2 15's. not by much though

ok im going to say what everyone is thinking just doesnt want to say it. almost any sub can handle more then the rms assuming the person behind the volume isn't a complete idiot. so lets assume your smart with the volume control and dont clip your shit. you have two 15's right now which is 354sqin of cone area. your asking about putting a single 18 which is only 254sqin of cone area. yes the 18 will take less airspace then the two 15's. but you have more power that can be split between 2 subs.

why would you trade 2 15's for one 18? for one you'll lose cone area

not tryin to get into a pissing match with you, but if you knew then you wouldn't say what you did. firing forward does not work in all cars. it's as simple as that. what works in one doesnt always work in others. case in point a just did a 2001 grand prix at my shop. with the subs firing rearward he does a 145.1. with the subs firing forward he drops to a 138. so it doesn't always work

dude quit giving advice that you dont know about. some cars like to be sealed off and fired into the cab, other cars dont. its a vehicle specific suggestion. some cars lose considerably when you fire straight into the cab. what you should have suggested to him, which i will do for you, is build two boxes, one to fire rearward and see what it does. then build another, or just use the same box and fire it forward with it sealed off. but what works for some cars wont work with all of em.

i find it funny how people always say dont worry you'll be fine. if something like that happened to you and it went away your lucky. when it comes to your eyes dont mess around man. go get it checked

get to the doctor. dude fuck your job, if it's that bad your only hurting yourself more. if ya wait you can lose your vision. then you wont have to worry bout your job anyway. like i said if it's been a day or two it's already grown into your eye. your gonna have to go to get it removed

lol. hey i know this one real well. i've had that lil drill in my eye bout ten times. it doesn't hurt. it takes em bout ten minutes to dialate your eye, find what's in it, and get it out.

the eye is the worst place to get something. once it's in there, within a matter of hours a film grows over it and no amount of flushing will get it out. when you go to the eye doctor they'll dialat your eye and use a lil drill to get it out. you wont feel a thing.

look let me blunt about this. would you rather lose your eye or your job? i've gotten metal and all sorts of foreign matter in my eyes before. you need to get it taken care of asap. i waited once for 2 days and that was the worst thing i could've done. after they initially took the glass out i had to go back several times because of infection. every other time i went right away and no other problems. if your worried about your job, then pay for it out of your pocket. mine was like $70 a visit.

for daily. no. at the most he should have for daily is 80. even then thats prolly to much. now if he had a wall with ass loads of airspace and only did burps and no music. then it would be fine
