My 2c.... Join the service - free college while you're in, awesome for your resume. Go in for an electronics job.... 4 years down the road you'll be set. I was in your position about 12 years ago.... (decided the military is a great place to be, still in free college classes, making OK$$, happy for sure)
again, just my little input.

I built a glass cage and base for our bearded dragon. Also built a big DVD Shelf to match it, no pics of that though.

oh ok i read that they were 500 wattsbut i guess im wrong. but yea the DC's seem pretty good ima check those out more tomamrow.
they're rated at 500 watts, but very underrated.
-
i got a question i mean i got a little knowledge of car audio not much but wouldnt the level 3 DCs over power the T5001bd?
or how are you thinking of setting that up?
thx.
T500 pushes close to 1000 watts at 1 ohm... perfect for a pair of level 3 DC's - Dual 4 of course!

Forget the BL's get BTL since everybody is getting them.
What does that matter? Do I sense a little bitterness towards the BTL?
I'd go with the BL's if those 1500's are the amps you are going to stick with.... But I've seen your progress so far since you joined here.... and you are going to upgrade again, it's just the way things work.... Get the BTL's, and when (in a couple months) it's not loud enough for you, you'll have the headroom to swap those 1500's out for a pair of 3k amps.... Just my opinion... grain of salt and all...

How about some of these....
http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=27198
Pick up one of those.... single 15 is another option if you have the room.

Eclipse decks are pretty good for the $$ these days...

It's al personal preference in a post like this...
Maybe a T5001bd, pair of level 3 DC 10's, or 12's. couple pair of polk coax or comps....
Would sound nice. You have tons of options though...

No problem - Another reason to drink a couple!

I like it, looks like a lot of thought and time went into it.
The battery is my only concern.. The + wires are too large and don't look clean/fit right in that terminal. The - wires need to be the same size as the + as well.
-
I think it's beautiful.
Nice job man!

I have a bunch of old PPI gear in perfect working order. Sweet stuff.

I think we're gonna cook up a tri-tip tonight. BBQ sounds fantastic!!
-
I'm gonna assume that it's a dual 2 ohm sub.. Just run the + from each coil to one of the + on the amp... same with the -
The connections on the inside of the amp are hooked together, just 2 of each polarity for ease of fitting that 8 gauge wire in there.
That'll give you some parallel action down to one ohm.
Should be good.

Empty except for glass and bracing.

Hows those shallow mounts sound?

OK, double post - all comments can go here:

Well, I'd think that if you could get away with moving the yellowtops (2) up front, then maybe 3 D3100's or HC2400's in the back.
-
Ummm, you might have to reword that so we can understand...
What amps do you have?
What Batterie(s) do you have?

lol, the left mids of my kicker ks comps is cracked like that, and the right rear coax is cracked like that, i dont kno how the hell it happined but they still play great, and those polk db series are merine certified, i got the older db6500's in my doors of the geo and they sound killer man, and the coax's that match those comps u got perfect in the back, anyways hope all goes will wit u fixin em, and good luck with air force mane
been in for 11 years already..... love it to death.

id rather just take the loss. if he decides he docent want them, i havent heard from him yet but i sent him the link so he knows im trying to make it up. im not that kind of guy
hell .i dont know how the hell they were damaged i wrapped the hell out of them wit bubble wrap. there was nothing onntop of them... and the box was stuffed with extra bubble wrap. the box should be damaged pretty good for them to have the crack they have on them. if it were someone else id say hes trying to get over on me. but its a mod so im not gonna doubt him.
Sorry man, I'm in the academy right now (Air Force schooling) pretty time intensive, I am going from 545-500 at school, then a few hours homework before bed every day. Not a bunch of time left over for sure..
From the looks of the package, I'd say that they put it under another heavy box which pressed down on the tweeter that was sitting in the cone of the mid. Not your fault at all. I was planning on just fixing it and using it since I have zero time to think about repackaging and shipping them back to ya. It'll sound just fine, and it's in a place where it won't be seen.
I know you're an honest dude, so maybe give me a couple bux off if/when I get something else from you.
Matter is closed on my end.
