  1. here are some pics of the rest of the system I'll be using the Tempo for the competition season this year so the interior will be changing cosmeticaly over the next couple of weeks
  2. the coushion does not feel any different to lean against and I'm 210lbs the only people that sit in the back seats are my kids..they love it..turn on the Neons and they are just wowed....
  3. I have been mutilating the interior of a Ford Tempo trying new Idea's.... here is my latest one.....it's not finished yet but I'm impressed with the way things are working......the air really moves thru the cabin now and the sound is so clean and un muffled this is my first attempt at seat mutilation and almost killed the wifes sewing machine in the process it's a Kevlar type material and tough as hell...doesn't stretch at all and the seat is 100% useable
  4. it's too bad I was un able to finish this box....it is on it's way to Calgary right now.....I'll probably build another one and see how it looks completed
  5. I took out the plastic tool box thingy behind the rear seats of the Quad Cab... not much room and the rear wall has a channel brace and tie down loops... :? remove the tie down loops... space is an issuue but he wants this system to pound....he will probably be running ab out 2400w rms a little test fit.... the rear seats will be getting custom brackets...they will be shifted forward and up.... there will be a 4" PVC port coming out each end of the enclosure down low by the floor
  6. this design worked out really well..it moves alot of air and the out put is really good and the SQ is very good (no port noise at all) I'll definatly be building more like it
  7. it looks so good naked I almost don't want to finish it... I'll have all the cosmetics done as soon as my carpet shows up from Parts Express
  8. this one will be replacing my common chamber enclosure each chamber is 1.60cf3 plus sub and port diss tunned at 32hz for a pair of JBL W10gti subs
  9. hey.... My real name is Trevor I live in Salmon Arm BC Canada... I have been wasting money on car audio since I got my first car back in 1985 it was almost a drug to me,,I was bassically working just to support the habbit I use to drive around to construction sites when I was younger and collect all the scrap peices of wood just to experiment building every kind of wacky enclosure I could think of {some of them were really scarry}..3 years ago I joined the RF forum and got hooked ..made an ass of myself on several occasions and found this guy who called himself Meadestyle 916...I followed his work when ever he posted (the guy knows his shit!!!) and even had a few heated battles with the man.. anyways this all lead to me re tooling my shop and gave me the Idea to start show boating and join the ride...now I have a semi sucsessfull buisness out of all of this and I'm building enclosures on a regular bassis.. if things keep going like they are I'm gonna be able to quite my job as a welder/fabricator and take up enclosure building full time...Who would have thought anyways Meade gave me an invite to show off my boxes and use the for sale section and show off my stuff.. I seriously can't thank you enough Steve..if it wasn't for all the BS you and I spilled on the RF forum I would have never gotten things going...you gave me the KICK in the ASS I needed...I hope to make it out there one day and buy you a few beers soon my buisness will be going well enough where I can work from home and spend more time with my family....You can't get any better than that
  10. when you start adding HP and shift kits to a car you will break things if you drive it really hard..I had my front engine mount rip loose and the motor hit the fire wall really hard I had a trans axle explode and a peice of the tranny bell housing went thru the fire wall and just missed my leg and I also had the engine rip off the rear mount and the shifter tore loose and dissapeared thru the floor...that one scared the crap out of me..I was holding the shifter at the time and it was ripped right out of my hand (front wheel drive) I ended up putting solid pins thru the engine/tranny mounts
