A quote off a Can-am forum I am a member on as well, thought it was funny but true and wanted to share, worth the read.
Saw this on another forum, made me laugh, had to post it here. Some of you probably won't find it as funny, but here it is:
How many Can-Am forum members Does it Take to Change a Lightbulb?
1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed
14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently
7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs
7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs
5 to flame the spell checkers
3 to correct spelling/grammar flames
6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid
2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"
15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct
19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum
11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum
36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty
7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs
4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's
3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group
13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, just to add "Me too"
5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy
4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"
13 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs"
1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again
Making a total of 176 posts
Are you another fellow Can Am owner? they're aren't nearly as many on here, as I thought there would be.

.175 puts hair on your chest..... and smoke in your lungs lol
What he failed to mention is the smoke is coming from the amp or subs, after running at .175

I can't deal with work without chat

I have an 07 F-150 with the 5.4 with a 250a Mechman and mine charges at 14.3 on start up. Throughout the day it will drop to around 13.7 but I've heard that it's normal because of something to do with the PCM. I've never experienced what you're talking about with the voltage going down while revving it. If anything, on really cold mornings, I've seen my voltage go up from 14.3 to 14.6 while driving.

damn it I actually had to work today, I was pissed when it gave me the error. I knew there couldn't be THAT many people in chat.

This is looking so good. Keep up the good work man! I'm ready to see some vids of this playing when it's done.

Words cannot describe how much I hate those damn things. Had one jump on me when I was little and have hated them ever since. When i was little, I went to my uncle's and my cousin got mad at him and punched a hole in his wall. About a million of these came out the wall
I just got all itchy thinking about it

glad it all worked out for you and I've never used the punch eq on any of my RF amps. I haven't heard of many on here that do.

The more and more I think about it maybe the HU sub level of +15 might be my issue. Cause if i start my settings with the HU out of wack then all tuning from there on out will be off. I am going to try a couple suggestions from this thread this evening and will report back. Thanks again for all your comments.
I set my amp gain with all of the eq settings on zero and I haven't had a problem. It's something that it wouldn't hurt to try. If it doesn't work then oh well, at least you will know and you can cross it off the list of things you tried.

I want it lol I'm curious to know what the range will be on it.

I honestly didn't think of that, i mean the unit was only 4mo old when this started and it seemed a little weird for a bat to die that fast only using it a few times at that point. i will give that a shot once i get omce and leave this remote work-camp. thanks
I like to disconnect my battery when it's not in use, just to make sure just it doesn't get drained.
