i got 2 new kinetik hc2000 and xs vcm module set to 14.7 volts and my box is tuned to 29hz but since i got the vcm and batteries it sounds like the tuning is higher n the songs dont hit the same...anybody have any clue why
i dont know why im gonna try to help this situation but check all your crossovers on your headunit and on the amp itself. changing that stuff out would have no effect besides making more power which in turn would not change the tuning THAT much to where u can notice it.

so i contacted this guy about his lot of 6.5" coaxials. he gave me a VERY reasonable price on the 350 or so he has left so i went ahead and ordered a pair so i can test them out to see if they are worth the money. im thinking in the future like 128 of these off a sundown 200.4 would scream bloody murder

I would much rather him get an amp that won't possibly fuck his subs up if he doesn't adjust gains accordingly. Those subs don't need a lot of power to perform nor do they need a big box.

(4) SA8 - D2????... If final load is 1ohm, I would go with the Sundown 1500.
No the 1200 with moderate gain would be better.

if the battery released then its bad which in turn makes the alternator have to work harder which could possibly in the long run make it go bad.

more than 36- 18" subs?
even Iam saying holey shit at this point haha
will equal about 33 18s. in cone area. just give me a few months to do the build and ill update whenever i do do something. gonna take some time to save the money because im not rich like everyone thinks haha. i just save till i get what i want.

that first design was only 36 but this 2nd design is more :yahoo: i got to get the suspension upgraded before adding any weight in the rear. working on fiberglassing a guys doors to pay for my suspension in the rear. then ill start gutting it and start deadening a few things. this project is not gonna be my typical week and a half build and have it playing. i gotta save for months in order to get everythin i want but in the mean time i will slowly build it up. i wanna actually make it function and look good unlike what i usually do.

if you unplugged your vehicle your headunit lost its memory. so your crossovers are probably messed up.
