I want to take my system out of my mazda and put it in my trailblazer with the 0 gauge in my car I have a big hump from the wire under thr carpet I dont want my TB to have that so I was thinking of doing 2 runs of 4 gauge would that work just as good?

+1 I had a 95 s10 with that motor and I sold it with over 230,000 on it and it's still going with 300.000+ on it

If my shit is clipping is from over or under powering my sub? Sorry if thats a dumb? I just dont want mess my shit up if there is something wrong.

my dmm leads must be bad it reads all over the sub sounds fine and plays loud and I double checked the wiring and it's wired for 1 ohm. the amp and sub are brand new so maybe it's clipping because I dont have enough voltage.

Yeah I was thinking that too. My voltage is between 12v-13.8v, I need to get my kinetik in.

No I did not check the resistance bit will. I set it too 48v but it's too much for the sub in this box I think I had to back the gain off.

Here are the specs of the sub http://www.maxxsonics.net/manuals/hifonics...er%20Manual.pdf Box is 3.49 cu. tuned to 36 hz optima yellow top d35 under hood, big 3 done, 0/1 wiring single run, 8 gauge wire for the sub. And 180 amp alt.

I noticed that the cone was getting a little warm after playing for a few minutes. I did not smell anything burning. I use a Hifonics BXi2608D, the amp gets a little warm too but not now where hot so I think that is normal. But is this normal for high power subs? Any help would be great.

You can burn a song on a disc and if someone decides to jack your shit they would need that disc to use the deck. That would be cool. I'm about 40 mins. south of wausau.

Well I did not get my kinetic 600 in because I have to build a rack for the amps so there is room. But I'm very happy with this enclosure and sub/amp combo. It's the loudest shit I've had. I will adjust the amp a little more after the sub plays for a week see if it gets any louder. I wonder what kind of db's I'm getting?
