So I just got my box done it's tuned to 32hz I was curious to see what you guys think will be the loudest freq in my trailblazer. I dont want to download music that sounds like crap. If anyone could give me and idea of where I should start that would be great.

I got a Tra 1400.2 and has worked great. Runs cool, But they do require some power though.

Help Me Decide On Some New Speakers
truck_buster23 replied to truck_buster23's topic in Mid's and highs
Thanks guys I see the infinity's are 2 ohm which would work ok with my amp because it's rated at 150x4 @2ohms so maybe these will be the best to go with. -
Help Me Decide On Some New Speakers

Nathan at excessive amperage hooked me up with a 300 amp alt for my trailblazer for $505.00 shipped. I think all of his alts put out their max power over 2,000 rpm but I told him I never drive mine over that so his is modding it to do about 165 at idle which is normal but it will put out full power at 1,500 rpm. I just wanted to share the great customer service.

Come on you box guru's help me out and get me bumpin. I will pay if someone can design a good box that will be loud in my trailblazer. I just want something louder than I have because this box worked great in my little mazda but now it's in a suv so I think a new design could help make it louder. -
I had 2 of those 12's in a jl ported box and a mtx 801d amp and they sounded very clean well I think that the amp will put around 1100 watts maybe at 1ohm so it could push all 3 but it would do the 2 of them pretty good and have a little extra power on hand that way your amp is not cranked up all the way. Hope this helps a little.

with 3 of them you will need a 1ohm stable amp.
