  1. Why not just wire the coils in parallel and get a 2 ohm load and then run the amp in stereo at 2 ohms? Its going to get a whole lot more power and be a whole lot louder too. The only thing that may suffer a bit is sound quality, but that won't matter that much.

Yeah I was gonna but would I have to put a resister or something on the other channel. What about running a coil on each channel?

  2. If your building this box so that the subs and port fire back your going to need room to let the pressure into the cabin...otherwise its not going to preform that was it should and your going to be disappointed.

Yeah thats how my box is now and it sounds good but I need to get louder and I only have 12's now

He said he already has a box about these dimensions, but that may be why he wasnt happy with his old box.

Got the box in my email thanks man looks good we'll have to hear how it sounds.

  3. I'm almost halfway done, pm me your email and I will email you the file.

You want a vertical or horizontal port? and i'm assuming u dont want to use PVC or aeroports.

And i can make changes really easy, just let me know

a horizontal port if the specs will work that u have great but I do have a few extra inches if I move my amps LOL

    PM sent

  4. Sorry dude, with wood thickness and port displacement, you are prolly lookin at 5 cubes max. I don't know of any 15's that will want that small of space. Maybe you could stuff with polyfil also? that could put you up to a theoretical 6-6.5 cubes. What subs is it and what car? fold down seats?

*edit* I just looked at the p3 wanting a 2.66 for ported. Where do you want the port and what direction for the subs? If I had some more info I could try and work on something

well I dont know what would sound the best but I would prefer the subs and port facing the back

it's a 99 mazda protege the seats fold down the subs are rockford fosgate p3d415's 2 of them

  6. Ok heres the specs on my box I have in my car now and it's a tight fit I need to squeeze these 15's in my trunk I have no clue on box building and I would prefer a ported box around 32 hz if possible but if I have to use a sealed box I guess thats what I will be stuck with. If someone can help me out asap that would be great the subs are on there way and I wanted the box to be ready.

    Width: 32"

    Height: 13.5"

    Depth: 19.25"

I could go 2 inches bigger from these specs
