Zv3 or zv4. Either will do great. If space is limited then the zv3 would be easier to fit
yeah like i said ive got 5.3 cubes to work with and trying to put my sax 100.4 and 2500v2 on a rack together also though
-
i currently have a saz 2500v2 and looking for a sub to throw at it, i was considering a 12 or 15 , x series or zv4 series
kinda limited on space with 5.3 cubes for a 03 mustang.
i read up on the x and zv4 series rms but i know they take way more clean power than rated.
any advice is appreciated thanks
-
well the dude i was referring to the other day about scamming me for 250$ when i was attemping to buy a sax has a smd accout here also just wanted to give you guys a heads up before he comes back and tries to pull a fast one on any of you. you can read more here.

2 sided story? yea right 4 months for A pillars, LOL! and still doesn't have them.
Best of luck. You are most likely out whatever you sent him.
ive got in touch with him and apparently they will be finished up today and he will have them out sometime this week but we will see lol
-
Yea I'm not flat out calling him a scammer just kinda sketchy it takes this long and can't get pictures and keeps getting put off /:
-
I understand that and all the shops quoted me 350-400$ and were over 100 miles away I just don't feel like it should take 4 months and be put off every time I ask for pics :/ and most the shops said they needed the car there to properly fiberglass them :/Like I told you on private message. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Not only did I quote you, answer a dozen emails and texts, but I also put you in touch with 3 different shops in your area that would provide you a great service. You didn't like any of our prices so you shopped it out to someone who didn't make you a priority. He has been in contact with you throughout the process, but isn't responding as fast as you would like.
Well.....
Good - Fast - Cheap Pick two.

Yea bad thing is I've already paid for everything the mdf rings gave him my ft1s and told him just ship the pillars back with the mezzos and ringsMeh, if he's too busy to finish them and take pics.. Id ask for them back.. or have them shipped to Loud Hunter.

Probably the 100th time I've heard this lol
-
He said a couple weeks tops but out of the blue he just decided to respondwhen did he say he would have them back to you? if a date was never given...
-
Yea same thing my dad said since he's a cop lol but honestly theirs really nothing I can do besides that so I toldjust scare him a bit maybe. try to act like you need them now and could drive there. If he is a con, he could catch your bluff, but my guess is he isnt that into it (if he is). you should be able to scare it out of him...
Him I would text him from his phone this afternoon to see if I can get a response But don't really wanna piss him off or he isn't ganna do the shit at all but from my understanding the mdf rings are done and the pillars are 99% and he owes
Me mezzo tweets also ( traded my ft1 for them since my pillars were to small )
-
Yeah there's no one locally except shops 200 miles away or garbage shops in town I would like to try it myself just wouldn't know where to start :/ neverThere was no one else close to you that could have done it? Sometimes doing it yourself is better than having someone else do it to avoid situations like this....but if you don't know how to then you best learn how to...hopefully you get this settled....
Messed with fiberglass or even any kind of boxes or anything I've always had it built and shipped although it would be fun to learn but I'm more of a physical learner I don't like to read lol would rather have someone here and watch and learn
-
I'll keep that in mind when I get my doors done just trying to see if I'm ganna have to buy some new factory pillars or what
This kid does some good work....Shit, I would've had them back to you in the same week, lol.
People do have some wicked busy lives, though. But... that is still a long time, regardless.
Hope it doesn't go sour...

This is the last update I had about a month and a half or so ago
-
Yea it's a real phone number and all as well
-
I traded him a sa10 and crescendo ft1 tweets plus cash for fiberglassing my pillars and some mdf rings i paid shipping to California from Alabama which was not cheap at all over 4 months ago I had them shipped to him and he kept giving me the run around about how stuff kept popping up finally he sent me some pictures of them being started and every time I ask for pictures he apparently has something going on and can't do it . The last time I have heard from him is 3-4 days ago when I asked for pictures and he said he would when he got off and I haven't been able to get in touch with him tried texting and calling multiple times still nothing .

Ive used those scosche adapters with soundqubed 6.5's but be careful about depth or your windows wont go down all the way lol
ive got plenty of depth just cutout is what im worried about lol
-
if the cresendo mids are the pro drivers they wont fit the opening of the adaper plate. they are over sized. you may have to ream the hole a bit bigger. If you have stamped frame 6" drivers they should fit. order and find out or look to see if you can find the mounting measurements. yea playa!
hole cutout for cz 6.5 is 5.25"
hole cutout for sa68 is 5"
-
Make sure you've got the depth to fit the speakers
they do i have 4" of depth to work with.

Then get a pair of the 6x8 adapter and mount the trim ring to it and the adpater to the door.
didnt think about that ill probally try that so just mount the rings directly to the adapter?
-
disregard the ebay ones and get these from sonic electronix
yea i beleive im ganna try those and ill try and mess around with them if needed
-
i was doing some reading on those and came across this
not sure if they would still work or not :/ dont wanna get them then figure out they dont fit lol
- Adapts 6x9" speakers to fit 5" - 6.5" OEM locations
- Adapts 6x8" speakers to fit 5" - 6" OEM location
- Adapts 5x7" speakers to fit 5" OEM locations
-
Make templates. Or buy them from Metra

-
