  1. I have only had one ticket. It was going across the country to school the first time. Socal to Pennsylvania. 100(cruise controled) in a 65. Thankfully it was Nebraska and the ticket was only 240....NOT BAD. Back here in socal a cop buddy said id likely have been taken in for reckless driving. Side story i also made it from Santa Clarita, Ca where Magic Mountain is to Vegas in 3 hours
  2. I was just thinking black and green for my truck.. i found this http://www.ball2ufall.com/alligator_custom_colors.html I dont know the quality or how it looks but its lime green gator http://www.urbansell.com/productinfo.asp?id=5569 And then that is black louis vutton. That was my interior design and also US composites has black/green carbon fiber/kevlar http://www.uscomposites.com/hybrids.html just throwing that out there and if anyone knows anything or has used that companies gator id also like to kno how it works and looks?
  3. just wanted to kinda throw in that I got in contact with team nutz technology in pitt and the price they gave me for the box was WAYYYY out of the budget.
  4. ya i entertained the thought of attempting this for about 5 minutes haha. that is SICK. ya i was really curious how you did it
  5. oh and also... what did you do about the air vents and stuff that are part of the normal center console? thanks
  6. how is that set up working for you? i wanna do something kinda similar with my 2 15" btls. I am going to actually cut out the middle seat though so I can get the airspace i need
  7. well I emailed Nick and he said that it is just the recone kit which is a GOOD thing so it can just get sent to me and I can have a shop around here do it...MUCH rather pay to ship a 1 lb? recone kit then 2 50+ lb subwoofers there and back
  8. thanks. ya im just trying to figure it out roughly...shipping is gonna be a NIGHTMARE
  9. I have 2 15" 08 BTLs they are universal so they can be reconed to d2 ohm. whats the cost for the kit and to have it done? im assuming I have to send it in for the recone to be done and the configuration changed.
  10. ok then...to go that route...i would need a car amp and then multiple of those and then the subs in the box. correct? sorry im really slow with all of this stuff
  11. ya i have been searching and askind around about doing it there are just so many ways and everyone has their own theory and way to setit up with the power supplies and plate amps etc. and then getting it properly running through a receiver. Just trying to gather the pros/cons of each
  12. I keep trying to figure out the process to actually turn my 2 10"s im going to be pulling out of my truck into home subwoofers but can not grasp the concept... there are people who have taken true car amps and power them with computer power supplies...and there are also those that use the plate amps..pros/cons of each and how do I convert them to home subs? Im not so much interested in the quality and proper dimensions for home theater as much as being the loudest room on campus in college. Would be nice if I can do this without too much cash out of pocket
  13. hahahaha....nice to know that if they didn't say it you had my back too. thanks guys
  14. is that philly? cuz the one i found online is philly area. that is a bit too far from me. i think i will try the other team nutz technology. its only hour and a half 2 hours from me
  15. Ill give them a call. Ya its wayyyyy different out here then at home. Im from the Los Angeles area so im kinda a fish out of water here
  16. ya I have heard good stuff but I looked into them when i went to do the 2 10s i have now and I tried calling them for days on end and it just kept ringing. i never got an answering machine or call back
  17. I would go to butler...I just want quality and craftsmanship because I know if its not done right it could get annoying... There is krazy customs and force audio? ya im in ebensburg on the 22 so pittsburgh is doable. i have a 2004 f150 super crew.. I am currently trying to find an upholstery shop to cut out the center rear seat and then put in a form of a wedge with the 2 15" btls i currentlly have mounted on the wedge facing forwards...i have something drawn up its about 8 cubes. and then the wiring and putting the new alt and 2nd battery in
  18. I do not have the resources or time to build my own box and install it. I am a college student. I do football and track... Is there anyone who lives in this area and would be willing to build the box and install for me? or know of a place that can? I obviously would pay for the services. I tried the local shops but am not too pleased or impressed. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
  19. i had no clue it was dying... **** just kinda hit the fan

  21. im hearing good things about the new kinetik 3800.....would that be beefy enough to use as a single batt and then get a 2nd.....just not right now?
