FIXED!!!!! First off thanks for yalls help. So here's the fix. The first thing I checked was my connection which was fine. I took apart everything connected to the second battery. I decided to check the washers. On the f16 non conductive washers on terminals cause issues. The washers I had was from a local car shop. I shot the washers with my meter all the washers ranges from 5ohms to 300ohms!!! Wtf!! I had 6 washers totals 3 on the positive and 3 on ground. I replaced the washers with good conductive ones. Works like a champ!14.6 volts. My battery is indeed wired in parallel. I don't know what I was thinking earlier I guess because I was so frustrated I wasn't thinking straight. So moral of the story don't use washers from local shops and always make sure its conductive!

So I haven't touched my car yet but I've been thinking.since my batteries are wired in series that would make my system a 24 volt system. My alt would see the front battery fully charged what if I added a voltage regulator so when either battery loses voltage it'll direct the charge to the respective battery. What do you guys think?

Right now the ground is in the rear on the trunk floor. has been sanded and everything. IDK what strut towers are so..... lol. Whats wrong with self taping screws btw? before i had the ground on some bolt sanded somewhere same thing idt its a ground issue. Hopefully tomorrow after work ill try to get you those readings.

Dude I'm already embarrassed lol. I took my meter shot all voltage and everything checked good. That's why I'm on here. I'm not brand new to stereos been doing then for years installs and troubleshooting lol funny how I'm getting owned right now by my own system. By crimped the right way I mean with a big *** hydraulic driven crimp tool with 0awg teeth.the only thing I can think of if not a solid connection to my second battery I need to get bigger washers

Here is how its connected. Yellow top up front. 0awg attached to positive then after 12inches a fuse holder then it continues then 12in before the xs battery another fuse. Then the postive of the xs batt. Also attached to thepostive of the xs is the power for my two amps. I have 0awg ground I took a dremel sanded it down used a self taping screw and tightened it down. My amp grounds are connected to the neg on my xs batt which is grounded like I just described. Both power wires to my amps are fused as well those are 4awg power. As well as 4awg grounds

I checked the ground today. I uses a rockford 0awg power kit. Terminals are aluminum and crimped the right way. My ground is bare metal. Yes its fused right after the first battery and before the second. I'm lost guys I really am. I'm an electrican in the air force on f16s. I don't know what else it could be.

I have two batteries. Up front a new yellow top and a XP750 in the rear. 0awg power and ground connecting them. I now have two amps one is 1000rms and the other 400 rms. my 1000 turns off now at high demand. With engine running i have 14.6 volts up front while 12.5 at the rear on the XP750. The amp min power is 10 volts with the system playing the XP750 drops to 10volts and my amp turns off. Why isnt it matching the voltage at the front battery? What can i do to solve my issue?
