  1. I think I still don't understand the point.

point is i was looking for a response from sonic on the delay. Not a major delay yes but still not the 2 to 3 day quote. Simple.
But you are in direct communication with them, why make this thread? That's what I don't understand.
because they can not give me a direct answer on what is being done or going to be done, I just wanted to know is it going to be repaired? Will I be sent a new replacement? My amp rack was built to spec for this amp in particular.I dont won't to put back in a refurbished or a repair that might not last . Depending on this outcome of how this amp I sent back is going to be delt I will just buy a new one to have so I dont have this problem and have to bother anyone else hopefully. Will probably know something Monday until they its whatever.
  2. what is the point of any of this? You just wanted to let us know that 3 days is too long?

I was told by them 2 or 3 days tops I would be contacted by the warranty department, so 3 days is not a number that I just felt was the dead line or something. Just basically wondering is this normal for sonic? No omg I'm going to kill my self over this because its been sitting at sonic 3 days damn I just think once you give a customer a time frame tell them something that's all.

I am sure if you have a little patience they will sort everything out for you
no doubt. In a situation like this that's all you can do.. No sleep lost by me over it..

  4. Sent in a Rockford two channel that has a bad left channel. You can easily tell with music playing that the left channel is much less powerful than the Right.. I checked with a dmm and the left was almost 4 volts less than the right channel... I have seen amazon reviews that four others have had pretty much very similarly problem with the left channel... I bought the pre paid shipping label from sonic sent it back its been 3 days they have had it now and I have heard nothing. They respond to my emails but still no clue on what's being done...

This is my original post, simply saying that its been 3 days and the warranty department has done nothing with my amp that I have been told of... Was I mad in that post, saying f sonic f Rockford, I'll never shop sonic if this is not fixed right fu*king now, no I did NOT ... So this four page pick a part of how I need to be is funny to me....
  5. And I suggest listening and not being so hostile towards people that are FAR more experienced than you. There's plenty of knowledge and help available on here when you actually need it...but acting the way you were will get you nowhere.

Ask the guy that was bitchy with me earlier that was asking for directions, sent him the opposite way and gave him the address for a car wash bay rather than the Detailing company he was looking for.

Don't be that guy. Welcome to the Internet, act like a fool and be treated like one.

Act like you want to be treated.

hey bro I have never dissed anyone that was not coming at me sideways first so check that now... I'm a grown man please dont try to son me...
  6. Well, good luck. And be patient...

Because companies don't like people with sandy manginas getting all worked up and making posts about them on forums like this for no reason... Especially when they aren't at fault as of yet.

If they weren't contacting you back in a few WEEKS then you have a right to worry.

And like mentioned above, call them if you have an issue that needs resolving. I'd present an actual issue though to save them putting another spoon of sand in you by laughing

not worked up... Lol its crazy you can't make a comment without people twisting your statements...
  7. i used to have 4 of the original bd1000 amplifiers running my subs. was talked into upgrading them when the new 3000w bd amps came out (the monsters). custom painted by drew brothers (they do all crockfords artwork on amps). installed into my burban with 3-300a alts, 8 runs of 1/0 to the 10 kinetik hc2400 batts (more than enough electrical). it played awesome for about 2 weeks. spend thousands on the amps and servicing of them over 10 times. went back to the second generation 1500BD (a step back in engineering) and was floored by the quality. the newer amps are even worse. the 2500bd is a complete joke. if you have a working one, consider yourself lucky. working at a local shop, we got the first ones to put into a well known denali with 4 L715's. they crapped the bed!

lots of people are lucky.. steve is running 8 and no issues. he ran another 8 before and again no issues
I had awesome luck with Rockford sub's in the 90's when I ran them. This was my first rockford amp was just on mids and highs and sounded way better then my old amp that was at the same wattage.
  8. If they keep replying to emails, what have they said?

just that they will let warranty department know that I have told them the problem with the amp...but can really say if any one has even put a dmm or any to the amp yet.. Takes less then five minutes.

Cause you are special and they should put you in front of everyone else???
dude they have had the amp 3 days.. If they work 8 hour shift in a warranty department if they have that much sfuff coming back my god I dont see how they stay in business.
