someone broke in and took everything they could get real quick. head unit, books, wallet, hopefully getting a newer head unit from insurance this week, and some new rca's and tweeters.

i have to pay a 500 deductible for when i got "theived" 2 weeks ago, so im gonna need cheap power, and then selling my kicker amps for cash. more than likely. i just need something a little more efficient. planning on getting another amp for highs in the front too.

how much would a saz3000 sundown cost?
  5. 01tahoeman
so yall are saying that a 1 ohm stable amp will be able to support a 1.34 load with no problem? or does it really depend on the amp?

anyone ever try the BAMF series 5500 or whatever it is. i was just looking at 1 ohm stable amps to get an idea of cost. im thinking the saz3000 would be a little much for me right about now. no offense to any sundown fans.

    1.34 Ohms

01tahoeman posted a topic in Amplifiers

3 Kicker L7 15's 1000rms Dual 2 VC Wiring would come down to 1.34 ohms. Just wondering if this would be smart. Dont want to fry a amp. What ohm stability would i need?

  13. 01tahoeman
yeah, so i guess new build in the works. once i get money. i only had about 1000 or so on my debit card, but got it cut off. he left the faceplate to the flip out, so he wont be able to use it really

the forensic guy said how much did the subs run you? and what are they 10's or 12's? i was like 15's and he was like holy shit. but i designed my box for this kind of situation. i had a electric screwdriver in the car, im suprised they didnt take the subs

i live at a apartment complex, and was parked right by the entrance, the guy that lives under me, said he heard the alarm go off, but thought someon just hit the panick button. i was up until 3. and the guy said he heard it at about 2. so something doesnt add up. but its cool and all. just thinking about how much everything adds up to.

i am thinking about a enclosure that you really never see. something unique. i have a 4th order now i do believe Anyone have any pictures of interesting sub enclosures?
  19. 01tahoeman
im thinking of making a box with boxes connected to it. with fiberglass somehow. want to get a couple 6x9's for the rear surround. so it might end up looking like a wall edit:didnt mean to make that sound so weird.

i want a daily box maybe something different, sq with the ability to hit the low lows
  21. 01tahoeman
basically the inside of the car is the enclosure still. by firing it back, it just makes the cargo door part of the port. so port back makes it more port to get to the ear, but the sound waves will be more together. up will muffle it a little because some sound waves are going to go away from the ear, and facing front will basically make it fastest to the ear, but still be muffled because of the space behind the box.. right?
  22. 01tahoeman
yeah, im not exactly sure how to tune it, or what the dimensions should be for one of those
  23. 01tahoeman
ha yeah i wish i could get something better. subs are already up, and port is up. would port facing the front be loud? like having the port go over the rear headrest facing the front

(3)Kicker 15" L7 D2 Going in the back of my 01 Tahoe. Tired of old set-up. Any suggestions to make this loud?
  25. 01tahoeman
it is "new" is about the only thing i could say about it. it just re-organizes everything and makes it harder to find at the moment. But from the little time i have been playing around with it, it is pretty cool.
