The amp has a remote gain control including the gain control on the amp ? Another suggestion not sure if this is stupid but what if I ran the sub at 8 ohms ?
-
Even if I keep the gain turned down? Only other Amps I got is a old Orion cobalt 260 and an old kicker zr120

So how about 4.2 cubes ? Should put me close to 3.5 after displacement right ? One 6 inch port 12.5 long
-
Ok what about 4.5 cubes , 6 inch port 11.5 inches long if my calculations are close that should put me at 3.8 cubes after displacement and the box should be tuned around 34 hz . Does this sound about right ?
-
So the box is 3.7 cubes after sub and port what would I be at ? I can go bigger on the box no problem matter fact the box I originally came up with was 5.7 cubes. I have a hard time figuring the cubic ft of a box after sub and port any help would be great thanks

Came up with a box size of 20x20x16 inside dimensions gonna try and do a round PVC port and flare the ends most likely a 6 inch round port around 12-14 inches long . How does that sound ?
-
Bass heavy music like rap, dub step
-
What should I tune the box to ?
-
Sub and port firing up ? Or sub up port back ?

Hifonics bxi 20006d http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_16370_Hifonics_BXi_2006D.aspx The sundown e15 is dual 4 ohm so the amp will be at 2ohms

Bump for box design ideas

2003 dodge quad cab . I removed the small seat behind the drivers side seat plan on putting the box there . The sundown company is new to me . I'm used to running brands like kicker an jl audio . My original plan was to get the loudest 15 I could on a budget ( around 100 bucks ) payed 119 for the e 15 just hoping I bought the best loudest in that price range

Smh we'll if I had the money I would of lol I was stretching my dollar getting the e15 . Anyways I already ordered it so any recommendations on a box design ?
