ok just a quick question i seem to be kinda confuse if i have a sub and its a dual 2 ohm and have it positive to positive and negative to negative how many ohms does it come out to on the amp.

depends where u live really my dad had his rebuilt for his 99 F250 diesel it was $1500 and my brother is about to get his rebuilt to for his 99 Durango 4by4 and its goin to be $850

go for the radio fuse the one located in the fuse box you can use that

same here but i actualy only have around 4in or maybe 5inch from the battery but the rest is 0/1gauge

its hook up right had install by me the ground is nutin but metal use 2 nuts that holds the seat which is set to my 2 batterys and where i get my ground from the voltage while this happen was 14.6 for gauge i have 4gaugekicker flex when i would tuurn it up to a full tilt the voltage would drop to like 12.8

and the gains were pretty low they were maybe 1/4 of the way

nope had it at 2ohm and i had just turn on the truck for the first time 2day doe . this happen after 5min bein on and no rca hook up.

so i was complainin on how my amp gettin hot alot well 2day i turn on the truck and had the rca's unplug while i was turning it on when all of a sudden it started to smoke anybody knows what might be the problem. the amp is a zx2500.1

what ive heard most cars can go up to 17v with out making a damage to the electronic stuff not to sure bout this but can get more info 2morrow to varify this but iam 50%sure

i sure do iam using 8gauge for speaker wire but so u think it migh the gauge because i have 4 all da way
