I was wonderin if anybody could help me out with my amp zx 2500.1 first of all a good nice and powerful amp but this amp keeps gettin extremely hot super hot to where you touch it and it will kinda burn you and second of all after a couple of minutes it goes into protection my voltage never goes below 12.8 even at a steady 14.0 it will get hot and then go into protection i have it at 2ohm with 4gauge kicker hyperflex all the help i can get i sure will appreciate thanks.

dat sucks man yeah after all that happen to mine it turn on took it in to where i bought it they tried it played for 30sec before it started to smoke again and smell nasty

did it just smoke no fire at all. i had the the 1 that said 3500.1 had it for a week before it cought on fire i could just see flames from under the seat.

the amp is a 2500.1 still messin with the gains but on the videos the gain of the amp was 1/4 with bass gain from the amp 1/2 and the low freq gain on 50ht the lowest that it goes

yes indeed but that was my first box build ever with the help of my pops but iam planin another box build in a week maybe tuned to 37ht

yes i have the gain 1/2 way do u really think that could be a big problem because even when iam not playin it at all it does the same thing
