I guess technically there is no issue, just they suggest a smaller belt but the stock one was the only size that fit. I more asking about the ground touching the throttle cable bracket.

Has anyone else had any issue with the mechman 240Amp in the Chevy s10's? I order it from JP at D4S, it fits and works the only issues I found were I couldn't find a belt that would go over the alt pulley even with the tensioner all the way down. The only one that fit was stock. Also the added ground from the Alternator touches the throttle cable bracket so I can't put any lug on it. It is a 1996 4.3 with AC if that helps.
