  1. when it comes to serious turbo performance, you cant budget quality. yeah, some other kits are decent, but certain parts need to be the best quality built parts for turbo apps. manifolds are number 1 in my book where you cant skimp, aswell as intercoolers. ive seen way too many issues from people trying to get around this just to save a few bucks. im not saying you have to buy their kit, but their manifolds are reliable, race bred and street proven. street setups really fall into budget problems where they tried to get around this and most ive seen are not reliable. once you start forcing around 25lbs of boost in is when things start getting crazy enough to show their true colors. fitment, placement, all that comes into play aswell. keeping heat sources where they need to be and not influencing other things that can cause problems down the road.

not trying to bash, just trying to get the word out and enlighten those that dont have the experience with it.

  2. i agree with evans-tuning. one of the best tuning shop on the east side imo for honda/acura, aswell as others. extremely knowlegeable

but i recommend full-race.com for one of the best quality turbo go fast stuff for your application. evans also has an online store too with good stuff

as far as the tranny ? i have personaly used it up to 380hp 248c chassis dyno approved power with minimal problems on the street. it has a better shift fork over the 92-95 si/ex trans. my issues were 3rd gear syncros on em though under aggressive 2-3 shift. also have to be carefull of the unequal length shafts on d- series as they can be problematic with over 250ish hp to the wheels. pre-loading the clutch [especially when puck, unsprung/solid disk clutches] will save you parts breakage [mainly stock axles, differentials] on those

i also have parts for those apps, pm me if interested, or if you need more help

  3. i for one like the reduction of the knob. it ramps up or down faster then the volume knob or sub adjustment on the deck. mute or att is not feasible to me most the time because that cuts all levels, not just subs like the remote which is why i like it. not to mention my position in my seat prohibits me from reaching my deck quickly for whatever reason.

love the thing for daily use, and i could live without it, but it is really nice to be able to adjust it for quick use on every song.
