even though it maybe overrated, it could be a godsend by blowing sooner

alright listen, if you know when a sub is at its limits ie thermally or mechanically, and you adjust accordingly, you will be fine.
only problem i see ''maybe'' is if the clues havent cured fully after a recone or something and you hammer on it while still wet.
you should be able to lean on it from the start without problems. personally, ill take a DD even though it says ''break in'' go full rich on it right away and have no problems.
people that dont know what to look for will be the ones to have problems

can you do it physically..sure. should you do it...absolutely not.
running off 1 coil changes the T/S parameters and completely changes how the sub will perform. you will usually get a muddy, sloppy bass performance out of it.
its a waste of time and equipment. dont do it

sweet. i think ill need to try it. will it be something that will work inside a vehicle or only exterior?

Just keep your gains abou 3/4 for about 5-10 hours of solid playing, the DD suspension is SUPER stiff. give it some time to break in before you start throwin its full rms

can you tell us what these so called amps are? 2400rms off of a long run of 4 gauge = heat = meltdown
i use 4 gauge on my mids and highs amp

Alright so i was cleaning my battier terminals yesterday. when i put everything back and tried to start my car it wouldn't turn over it just made a ticking noise. Dose that mean my starter is gone or what?
that's usually caused by a weak battery
especially since you just performed an action in that area

if ya have the probe lead backwards that goes around the wire, it will read negative. it should have an arrow on it for current direction.
