  1. you get away with having mudflaps that aren't even with the outer edge of rear tire?

    DOT rapes ass for that down here.

    They cover to the end of the tread. I've had a couple state troopers drive by me and a couple local cops. before i had flaps they would pull me over right when they saw me

    Damn 50 cal down here they don't say anything. Hell there is 1 truck in my town that has probably only 1 inch of tire under the truck. It's actually pretty stupid if you ask me. Sometimes too much is not a good thing.

  2. Well buddy hitting lows takes a lot. I'm not an expert and can't give you any advice but where I would start is by looking at your box and port dimensions. Maybe start a thread in enclosures section. Post your goals and what equipment you have. It may be as simple as shrinking your box or making your port longer. I think building a new box that would achieve what you want will be cheaper than getting new subs. Also if you get the new subs and don't have a proper box then you could have the same exact problem. Just my 2 cents.
