  1. In the past, I have used a reciprocating saw to cut my subwoofer circles for enclosures and now I am interested in buying a router. I know that I will need a jasper jig to cut the holes but, what kind of bit do I need for the router. Yesterday, I saw the bit you use to round the edges but, I do not know which bit to buy for the actual cutting.

  2. Cheers man, a compliment off yourself is very nice to have :clapping:

I think this is loud and so does most people who hear it with 2 lvl4 15's so what the fuck all those btls are like i actually cant imagine

I am still lolling at the video, i cant believe i got that on there, i mean we were up the back of a large hill out of town which is something to do with ministry of defense, then i drove off road just for a laugh and parked in this spot, had a little boom and then turn round and see an old guy walking down with his fingers in his ears asking what the hell we were doing

It was one of those things i doubt will happen again and i especially doubt i,ll happen to be recording it either :zorro:

I have heard that people will die at 245-250 decibels which is equivalent to an atom bomb.

  3. Whoops, shitty double post.

It's prob not the vid man, it's my crappy ass internets.

Do you have to ground all the 0 gauge wires separately? Because in the past I would just ground all my batteries and amp through the battery under the hood. I am about to start my build with one red top under the hood and three blue tops in my trunk, will it be a problem for me to ground the batteries and the amp through the negative terminal under the hood or should I ground them separately like you. By the way great job on your build. Thanks

  4. When a mono amp has two positive speaker terminals and two negative speaker terminals, do the two positive go to the same place as well as the negative terminals go to the same negative place. If I were to wire two dual one ohm speakers in series/parallel into one ohm will the amp read the output as one ohm even if I am only using two out of the four terminals, since the other terminals go to the same place in a mono amp. Sorry about my confusing question

  5. whynot do a 1 sub setup with 3200 watts going into the btl then down the line buy another amp and sub

I was thinking about underpowering the two subs for awhile and then upgrading the amp after I get use to how these subs sound and work. I also have never heard anything this loud so I am not exactly sure how they are suppose to sound and operate. Also I did not want to have to make another box in a couple months.

  6. I was thinking about getting two fi btl 18's but, with the amp I have now it will only be pushing 1600 watts rms a sub (3200 watts rms total). I wanted to use the amp I have for now and upgrade to a bigger amp in the future. My question is will 1600 watts rms push the btl's and if it could what size enclosure would I want to build a larger enclosure or a smaller one. I am looking to tune it in the low thirty's for a daily setup. Thanks

  7. I do not understand EXmax fully because the specifications for my sub say that it can handle 16.1 mm. I thought EXmax meant how much excursion the sub could handle. I think my sub is getting about an inch of excursion. What do they mean when they say 16.1 mm thanks.
