  1. Using a low to high convertor already ruined your "sound quality". Oh wait, the stock head-unit part already did. It will not be as good as RCAs straight from the back of a good hu. A Sony Xplod can get people to hear you coming fyi lol. The P3s and amplifier are a great choice for a first system that will give good sound. If you still want a sub good sound quality yet pounding, get a Image Dynamics IDMAX 12". If you want your lights to not dim, adding a new battery or replacing your existing battery is a great solution. I'm sure the G6 will have a good enough stock alt.

  2. Yes you can but you won't get the power the amplifier is rated to give out at 1 ohm and impedance rise will rise it moar??

    Basic Amp Tips:

    Get a good amplifier.

    Never use bass boost.

Match your gain to your headunit's pre-out voltage (just because gain is at half doesn't mean it's at half volume unless your preout is really 0.2v or something.

    Use good power cables.

  3. I have one for my iPod Touch and I hate it. At certain angles, you'll see the orange peel effect. Also, you can't take this off and reuse it or else the edges will not stick. I messed mine up because I put it on my iPod slightly off so I had to re do it a couple of times and now the edges are not sticking and is collecting dust and shit. I guess at least it still protects my iPod.

  4. just listened to that lol. my gf was tellin me about that rock album he has comin out but wasnt sure on it. i'm skeptical. if it's like the 'let it rock' song, it might be ok. i'm a fan of that song

Oh no it's way different from "Let It Rock". The radio played a track from his coming up rock album called "Prom Queen". He used Autotune and shit it sounded so weird. I puked a little in my mouth when I heard it. :pardon:

  5. what you want is to actually research what the hell your buying. I dont understand when people ask what options to get for thier system.

What power will go to it?

what box will it be in?

what are you looking for out of the sub?

nobody can answer YOUR opions question when we know nothing about your installation

    x2 dudee

research doesn't take a lot..if a kid can build his own sound system, this man should be able to find out what options to get for a subwoofer :pardon:
