    Noo. It's to match the pre-out voltage of your headunit. You could have the gain and minimum and still get the max out of it if your pre-out voltage is high

    You can hear it clipping when it's being clipped very hard. But a bit clipping won't be audible as you said.

    Yea that install is sweet, so much entertainment. SoundMans' is really dope on the sound quality side though.

    Isn't that a bit too much? They're rated for 1kw each. One Audiopipe AP-30001D would be more than enough. Make sure you have a powerful enough electrical system though. Edit: Well you could probably burp with two APs but I wouldn't turn them up that high with daily listening

    I had a Logitech X-540, then switched to two Logitech Z-5500s wired in optical. Sold one, bought two 12" Premiers in a 4 cu/ft box in my bedroom off 600 watts. Sold that, bought a Image Dynamics IDV.3 10" for my room last week. Just finished the sealed box right now lol.

    $100 is way too low. You don't have a job or something? I'd suggest you to save up. Btw, I believe Sound Storm amplifiers are quite heavily overrated. Something good like a Alpine MRP-500 should easily power that BOSS, unless it's really bawss and takes the rated 1150 wrms. GL
