All fixed.. bxi2008d running 2 of the new soundstream 13's shallow mounts with 5 1/2inch voice coil .. at 2ohms...

My fault I thought the shop in question could actually do something right... lol

Well it was just the ground... Heres the story So I hooked up my buddys amp and stuff with 1 12 a while back and he went to local shop and got a little box made with 2 12's a few months after that.. Stupid local shop moved the ground.. Didn't scrap paint and didn't even screw it down all the way so it was wobbleing... Was weird the Dmm still got a good reading

And how do I do that again?

Bump it up cuz donno what to do... Ima try new ground later when he comes by but I donno why the dmm would meter good if the ground was bad...

I meter the voltage and use the ground tho so I would think it would be ok

Well I jumped the remote wire right off the pos so It can't be the remote wire... I have not tried new ground but have checked all wires...

Alright my buddy came over and said his amp wasn't working... I check the voltage on it with engine off and its fine... Turn truck on and amp comes on but 6volts from both power and remote!!! So its putting out no power of course... So im like iunno never seen before, amp might be fucked up.. I put my bxi2008 in there and its fine for a few mins.. Shut truck off and turn back on its doing the same thing... With the hifonics the protect flash then the power flash like start up and then no lights on at all but the blue leds on the front come on... 6V on each power and remote... I tried to jump the remote wire off the power and still does it!!! Turn truck on with remote unplugged and the amp reads fine 14.4v then hook up remote BLAM 6v and 6v... Unplugged rcas tried it no help... Checked fuse up front and put new one in.. No help.... Speaker wire at 2ohms like normal... Donno what else! So Help! lol Thanks

Alright so no opinions on anything Alright then lets just go to a question.... To factor in a Slot port into your tuneing what does it need to consist of? I always thought it needed to have some sort of L shape port and it gets its extra airspace to lower tuneing but could be totally wrong... ?????????????? If im right im gonna do 1" of L on my port and hopefully it comes out good... 12cubes excactly after sub/port displacement 180sqin port 33.36hz THEN if im wrong i'm not gonna do that inch and its gonna be 12.13cubes and 180sqin port at 36.32hz....

Or if I did 4" port on back wall... 4" x 44.5" and 18long 178sqin port so 14.8sqin per cube and 12.10cubes @ 34hz 4" too narrow? Man no opinions from anyone? Wheres all the box guys

Hummm Using 34x46x20 and .75 for sub/brace displacement... 8x23 by 20 long port... 184in port 12.04cubes @ 34.20hz Thats 15.33 sqin port per cube bbbbuuutttt still worried bout the port placement... Any opinions?

Actually 150.... Made a vid of new batch because I got tired of taking pics... Seems like everyone loveing the big ones when thats the ones I got the least of... Tons of the middle size C&D and GNB but running low on the big ones... These are the last 4 big ones... Also got the weird skinny tall Northstar NSB100's(around 10) and then the well known NSB125s(Like 3-4)

Was actually designing something just like that but I did 1" longer instead of 3/4 higher... Worried bout port flow but I think 36-37hz be ok.. With 18s anyways.... I hope lol Hummmmmmmmmmmmmm what to do.......................

Looking to do port off back glass since its at an angle and shoots air forward... Anyone else for any ideas? Anyone have experience tuned a bit higher?

I was going for like 33hz.. I like the lows but if I can tune higher and still get the lows thats fine.. Not like C&S lows but you know what I mean.. Anyone else got thoughts working with that mount of space?
