Yeah its tuned to about 38-40 Hz. If I throw that new amp in bridged to 1 ohm the sub's most likely going to bottom out at frequencies below 30-32 Hz. Ther is a subsonic filter on the amp, but only cuts up to 25 Hz and lower. Any help on a new box design would be much appreciated, I'm looking to do a vented application.

So turns out i'm really into this whole car audio thing. I have been installing my friends systems for about 4 years now but I have never been able to understand the entire concept behind vented enclosures. I have an Orion H2 12.2 and I'm gonna need a new box, the one I have right now is gonna ruin my sub with the new amp I just bought. I just purchased a Kenwood KAC-9152D (yeah cheap but decent, I'm a broke college kid) I need box specs for more biased toward SPL but SQ counts too. The box I have right now is 2.1 ft^3 and ported with a 3 in round by 3.5-4" deep... Much too high for the excursion limit.
