I know the funniest thing i ever did was when my grandma came in town. See my dad owns restaraunts, and i decided to take her out to eat at his new one. She never knew i had the "Illegal Speaker" in the back as she calls them from when my ucnle was into car audio. Well i had an s15l7d2 on 890 watts in a 6 cu^3 watts ported (not the best ever but it's not there anymore =]) So were riding down the road and i have the gain all the way UP, and the volume all the way DOWN. I see my buddy brandon driving down the road and post up beside him at a redlight. He drives a ford taurus and looked like a complete assclown reving his engine like he wanted race. So in return before the light turned green, i put the tunes on "Flatline" by DJ unk and vol. on 5, skipped to the part where the bass almost hits and jacked the volume to 20/30 on the HU. My grandma screamed her head off and opened the car door because she thought Kentucky was being bombed!

yeah, plus it does the 1500 @ 2 ohms so i don't have to use both vc's and wire my sub in parallel, sundown is truly the shizzle.

You can call they guy at audioque and ask if you can split that amp to 1 ohm which will give you well over 3000 watts i'm sure, he's easy going and cool. Plus the amps only $390 shipped comin' straight from the father of the guy that owns Digital Designs. Man makes great amps.

I'm looking to power my 15" lvl4 w/ lvl 5 coils .. but i'm looking for something in the $300 that will do 1250 - 1600 @ 1 ohm that isn't complete crap at the same time. Anyone got any ideas?
