i'd love to go to ces at some point, we built the supra that was in the stinger booth in 2004 at the shop i worked at down here.
-
i got an e-mail address for them. they have 15" stroker single 4 ohm recones for sure.
-
wow, nothin? i really wanna sell these things. i think the price is right for some beast strokers.
-
i got 4-old school 15" strokers for sale. they were going to be walled off in an s-10, but the deal fell through, the guy bought a trans-am instead.
these subs need recones. one does work, but still needs a recone. cerwin-vega still has the recones available, and i have the e-mail address for them. the subs are kinda dusty, but will clean up nicely once they are reconed.
they are single 4-ohm.
$440 + shipping for all 4. or $110 + shipping each.

my honda doesn't meter very well either. > so you're not alone in that boat.

thanks, hopefully i'll talk this guy into getting his car metered soon. next week, i got a guy coming in to get 4-comp 8's in a f-150 standard cab, should sound good. then i get to FINALLY start on the extended cab s-10 with the 4- old-school stroker 15's. late december i have an install lined up for 8-comp 10's fiberglassed in the back seat of a 2 door sunfire, i'll make sure to get some pics of the build on that one.
-
well, i posted pics of this car a few months back that was built at the shop i used to do some work for. i did not build the band pass box in the car, but i did enjoy taking it out. we pulled the port out of the box, and gained 2 db on the TL. that box was crap. now the car is running sealed enclosures, hits alot harder, and plays a wider range of notes, not to mention it looks sooo much better now.
old post>>> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/forums/in...php?topic=135.0
the shop that built the old box recently closed, so we used this as an opportunity to show what we can do at the new shop i am the part owner of. hopefully we'll have numbers sometime soon. tell me what ya think!

we're gonna glass the trunk, going all sealed this time around. comp's are so much happier in sealed boxes. we are going to leave the hole in the rear deck as a blow through and fiberglass the deck with components. he's thinking about switching to cvr 12's and another kicker 750.1. hopefully the rebuild should be done in about 2-3 weeks.
-
i'm amazed everytime i see him get out of it. we all tell him to get a bigger car, but he just loves that damn focus.
-
hey was there a black and orange 4-door focus out there? we are about to rebuild that system at the shop i work at in cleburne. should be fairly loud when it's done.
Do you mean that one in the back
yep, that be the one. the bandpass box was built at another shop and the port tuning was so off we just took the port out and he had to gain 4 dB. it's pretty loud for comp 12's.

6-Fi Btl 18's....on the T15k....that would be the sh*t :-*

i was asking about your civic. as i have a 97 civic hatch that i would like to relocate the A/C controls on.thanks again, the wall looks awesome! too bad i wussed out and went with air ride instead of my 4 stroker 15's :'(which car?
-
hey steve, how did you mount the A/C controls in the console?? i want to put my guages for my air ride in the a/c controls location, and i just happen to have a hole where my dvd player once resided in my console. any help, tips, instructions will be greatly appreciated!!
-
that is awesome. :oyou should shoot one of those my way for the strokers! hahahaha, yeah right!
-
i took some pics of the box at night with the lights on, it looks crazy in person, with the inside of the box painted with white speckle paint(old school yo!) it glows bright as hell.
-
it belongs to our sales guy at the shop. and yeah we have alot of trim out to build yet.

4 kicker comp 12's in a band pass box in the trunk of a focus. ported through the rear deck, fires against back window. being ran off a 300w rms autotek street machine(new amp on the way). even on a small amp and not near complete(put it together just enough to play at car show), this thing gets it! lots of flex on front and rear glass. i'll get it on video as soon as its finished.
below are pics of our show truck, and my dad's dakota r/t i took to the show. the chevy has lambo doors in the front and suicide doors in the rear, 10-inch lift 37's on 20 inch wheels, etc, etc. nice system... chevy took best of show, dakota took 1st place 2000's truck.
enjoy! tell me what ya think
-
now for the first question about your new box...how many cu. ft. did you end up with??
-
i emailed cerwin vega, they have recone kits in stock for $105 each. not too bad of a price i guess. a guy here in ft. worth is doing the recones for me for 20 bucks a woofer.
-
ok here is pics of the strokers, they aren't clean but oh well. they will look brand new after they get reconed.
i have always wanted strokers, now that i have all 4 its time they get put to good use. gotta get them reconed, then i gotta figure out what to power them with, then i gotta build the wall for the civic. tell me what ya think.
-
quick update on the rebuild.
i now have 4-old school stroker 15's at the house, they all need recones but that's no big deal. i might do the 4 of them in as big of a ported wall as i can fit in my car and still have room to do a nice amp rack in the back. don't know what amps i would run yet, so if you guys can suggest some good BUDGET high power amps i would surely appreciate it.
-
that port looks so sic!! at least your civic is easier to wall than mine will be. > looks good man, keep it up!
