  4. even if you could get the sub loose...good luck draggin that heavy bitch outta there! i hated every time i had to move grady's. makes my level 5 feel like a paper weight!
  5. each side of the dually was 3gb! files have to scaled to the physical size of the vehicle.
  6. you gonna bring it out to the next tbp show? its the 23rd at dfw stereo in grapevine, noon-5. i swapped my 4xl 18 in my tahoe for a level 5 18, gained over a full db, direct swap.
  7. if you increase the port area and shorten the port you'll be close to 50hz tuning. if you increase the port area you have to increase the port length to stay tuned lower.
  8. we got vids of grady's from inside the car flexxin the windshield, just none outside since it was raining that day. link to my toutube channel in my sig.
  9. i loved my 4XL, i just need more power handling. i'm also building a new enclosure to try to eek out some more output.
  10. got the level 5 in and playing. nothing is really wrong with it. just the dustcap touches the former, easy fix. still gonna recone to dual 1, 4 spiders. now i just gotta find a way to get the overspray off
  11. had to make one last video of the XL before it goes away tonight. getting replaced with a level 5. as soon as i get moved into my new house in a few weeks i'll get a new box built and try to get some good numbers from a single sub in a 'hoe. song is behind blue eyes-limp bizkit! its got monster bass at the beginning, never thought about using it before today!
  12. dual 1. i keep it at .5 daily now and have to keep the amp waaaaayyyy down. now i'll actually be able to chunk some good power at something.
  13. that's fine with me! i think i got a box design worked up for it already too. til i get moved into the new house it'll have to live in the big box. you just want a regular monster tonight?
  14. heath's level 5 is going in my tahoe. trading the 4XL for it from oldschool tonight.
  15. i got level 6 vids! had em for a while now. check out my youtube. link in sig
  16. i've done some cool ps stuff. when i managed the local signshop we did a couple badass wraps on the owner's trucks. i'd throw the art files up, but i don't have that kind of time on my hands! huuuugggeee files! when it was being installed
  17. played with signblazer and it does have the stuff you need in it. took about 2 minutes to figure it out. it just uses different terms than the other sign programs. i'll walk you through the outline and welding/punch through process if you want.
  18. i did some digging and found out that signblazer is pretty much a dead end. the whole comapny is gone. i downloaded it for free gonna try it out.
  19. should work. i did these for an rc truck. the white outline started out red, then i welded it to the flame design, after that i deleted the red outline. this left the void between the black letters and gray flames. just flip through some of your tools there should be something in there to help. i'll se what i can dig up about sign blazer.
  20. well, i got an example of a really simple one. as soon as hoetobucket decides to come back online i'll post it up for ya! got a few others too. can you import .pdf's into your program?
  21. your program should have an outline function in it...should. and it should have a way to weld designs together, so there isn't lines where things intersect if they are welded using the same color. use a different color and it will cut out what is welded together, then you can delete what is left inside and you will have a hole inside the shape of what was welded. let me search my laptop, i saved some of my art on there and i will see if i can get you a look at what i'm talking about.
  22. heres an easy tip that will work wonders on the team dc decals, the one on the left, you should just dan an outline on team, make it a different color(in program), weld just the outline to your DC, then delete the outline and all its leftover bits. you will see the leftovers in wireframe view, inside the holes in the letters. this will give you separation the exact shape of the "team" at a specified distance. duplicate the whole deal and try a few outline thicknesses and see what looks best when stacked near each other. you tried 2-color stuff yet? its all about weed borders, so line up is easier for whoever is installing the decals. 2-color decals that lay on top of eachother should be installed separately to avoid getting "tapelines"(bubbles where the colors meet). if i had a sign program on my laptop i would make up some stuff for you to try.
