  1. Those are 12" W6. I'm thinking of making separate chambers and both of them have their own port. Would that work?
  2. I'm building a ported box for 2 sa8v3. In a single cab gmc. I currently have a custom box for 1 sa8 ported that I don't like. The back of the box will be fiberglass. Is it possible to do slot port? Or would an aero port be better ? Should they be in their own chambers? I want them to be tuned at 34-35hz. The bottom depth is 9 inches. Top depth is 7inches. Didn't get the total width of the box. But here's a picture. This is one is sealed for 2 12s. We also made this box, mine will be the exact same but 2 8s ported instead of 12s
  3. Dammit. Either 3 8s. Or 2 12s in a blowthrough. Still deciding. Don't get me wrong. My sub songs great right now. But I want more
  4. dammit. Should I just man up and get a blowthrough setup. 2 12s. And yeah the guy has experience doing fiberglassing
  5. none taken. The box is pretty solid. Inside and out. It fits perfectly behind my seat. I can still put my seats all the way back. I think I'm going to get another sub and place one behind each seat. Ported of course. If possible. It sounds amazing with the windows down. Windows up its just missing something
  6. is my box ok though? Does it look right. Would it help if I just get another 8" sub?
  7. How do I tune it higher, do I have to rebuild the box.? And I thought ported boxes had all these walls inside like channels, mine just has a long port going through it?
  8. this is the box. fits like a glove. The back is fiberglass molded to my truck back wall. And there is the inside. I Didnt make it. I had a guy make it for me. He Said its tuned to about 34hz...any help? Everything look ok?
  9. Is there any kind of little mod I can do to make them sound louder like with the windows up.?
  10. So I got a custom box made for my 2014 sierra regular cab. It's ported, and huts real low and nice...but with the windows down. With the windows up it doesn't get as low or deep or loud! I'll post pics of the box. It's powered at 1ohm load with a Sundown 600d. And I have an audio control lc6i with everything hooked up.
  11. If I knew how to post pictures on this I'd show you the box, but idk how. .would the sa sound shitty?
  12. Hey guys I posted a while back, I have a 2014 GMC sierra regular cab. And I currently have 2 JL AUDIO W1v3s. Now the box I was going to make was going to be sealed. A friend of mine has the same box I'm going to build. It's fiberglass back and wood from front, since there's not much room for a box inside a regular cab truck. He has 2 JLW6 12". They fit! So I was thinking maybe a ported box would be good.-I want Sundown Neo Pro 6.5 door speakers and pro audio tweeters. Now the fun part. Would the 2 jl w1 sound louder then 1 8"ported sa sundown? Do sundowns sound good in sealed boxes? Should I get 1 or 2? I want them loud, as volume wise. Stock systen doesn't crank up as I want it. Here's pictures of the box he made.
  13. Getting 2 Sa8 sundowns, but my problem is the space I have a 2014 GMC sierra regular cab. And it looks nearly impossible to make, and to hide the amps..any help
