start with the damore web site where a replacement can be purchased or make your own

I went back last night and watched the video with the 4 crunch amps and from the looks of it the CC-1 does gain match off of the AC voltage from the "master" amp.
If you go back and watch you tell the CC-1 to "remember" the output of the master amp. the amps only output AC voltage. The one thing to remember about the CC-1 though is that you have to turn down the volume on the deck since it is voltage sensitive. When you learn the 1st voltage the CC-1 turns the Blue LED on when you reach that Voltage by turning down the other 3 gains. So in essence it is doing the same thing as a DMM except no readout, just the blue LED.

This will be a test I do on the resistor bank
-
But the DMM and the CC-1 are going about matching the gains slightly different from my understanding.
I'm not sure how the CC-1 does it either. I just use it to set x-over points, never got around to using it for gain matching
if you where to dyno the mismatched amp that requires more voltage to make the same power on the cc1 you would see the wattage would come out the same as the first amp, where as if you volt matched with a dmm as the first amp your dyno results would be different even tho they are reading the same voltage
Ok, heres where I'm loosing it. I'm reading this as even though the voltage output is the same there will be a difference in wattage?
I know it's tuff to explain. It's tuff to understand for me right now!! lol

So when using the gain matching feature on the CC-1 it is gain matching your amplifier by wattage, not A/C voltage (like your Digital MultiMeter is).
When you are volt matching by voltage via dmm and you have 2 of the same amps and one is slightly stronger, one amp at say 50volts is going to be louder then the other amp at 50volts meaning your amps ARE NOT VOLT MATCHED.
I'm sick today man, so that might be why I'm not getting this part. say that one more time?
-
I'm with you man.
I don't use my CC-1 to its full potential that's why I do that part with the DMM. Maybe someone else will chime in with the answer for ya. I'm gonna spend some time on the bench with the cc-1 when I can to learn all it's uses. Down and dirty though, bust out the dmm if you have too.
-
When I gain match I use the DD-1 to gain set, my cc-1 (when needed) to x-over set, and them my DMMto bring the amps down to whatever voltage I want them at. If one is ay at 56 volts and the other at 59 I'll just bring them both down to 55 and call it a wrap. I play everything on the safe side though

^^
Yup Yup
and its loading into my AMM-1

Just curious if there was a method to the madness or am I reading into it to much
Is it month, year, model, serial # with range beginning 10xxx

I wont be doing any drag racing but my test board will be complete within the next two weeks.
On the cool side of testing will be a rare Fosgate Power Series 25x2 (DSM Model) along with the 50m some PPI and Soundstream
Is that what you bought the caps for?
you mean the green resistors? If so yes. I have the "poor man's Amp Dino" see what i did there, I spelled it DINO cause i don't need a copyright lawsuit! lol

Lol maybe we should start fusing our jumper cables. One genius put their side on backwards
Ghost customs does road side assistance now?

The x's are overall better for lows,
And ..............
Camaros are faster than Corvettes
$50 is better than $100 in the economy
one eye is better than 2 for peripheral vision
handsaws are better than table saws cause they are more accurate
and sluts are better than virgins cause they have more experience

This is like when camaro guys wonder about corvettes. Is there a difference, yes. Subtle in some aspects greater in others. Are they worth it... Well, value is in the eye of the buyer. What do you need the sub to do? How much power do you have to feed it etc... These should answer the question of which to get. If buying the zv4 means your broke then odds are you can't afford to feed it correctly all the way around. Get the x
Buy a corvette then can't afford gas or insurance.... Don't be that guy

Excellent video.
Love the testing of meticulous details like this!

how deep into clipping does the AD-1 take the signal it samples to calculate wattage?

I'm pretty sure some of my guys have stooped way lower than that N8, at least she has a full set of teeth.
Look up as associated people:
Lori L Smith age 45-49
Nathaniel T Smith age 18-24
Greg smith age unknown but appears to be dad
here's all the info you need on the house
here's his google plus info

If that's the GF above
Pass!

Didn't he help design the Rockford Fosgate T15k?
go find a corner and stand there till we let you out

some people are visual and don't get whats in a CFL so here ya go
So unlike an incandescent light bulb, which is a dead short, you have a lot going on! Thus the comparison here. With the changing impedance due to the circuitry the CFL is a speaker and the incandescent bulb is a resistor.
hope that cleared it up for anyone who was in doubt.

How much power could a zv3 15 take daily?
in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!

A Zv3 is capable of taking more power than the average car audio guy's electrical can produce.
Seems people are more concerned with stats of the products on the front end then spending money on adequate electrical and the stats on the back end that to me are more important.
And before someone says that doesn't answer his question, it does. If you cant see how go back to Audio 101
