  6. thanks for the welcome, i appreciate it...i've been reading for awhile...been a member at CA for a lil bit...decided to finally join here...as for the marriage stuff...it's just my .02, i've seen so many around me crumble and destroy their lives as well as the lives of the kids they have brought into the world, it all boils down to lack of commitment, and responsibility...
  7. one of the biggest things to remember as a young person, or a young married couple is to not allow your friends and their relationship techniques rub off on you, out of my wife and i's large group of friends, we are one of the few couples that are making it work the right way. many times hanging out with your friends they will give you tid bits of advice which will land you in trouble, or weaken your marriage...my friends all know now not to try and coach me on my relationship... each couple is different and certain things that work for me probably wont work for you...you just have to make it a priority, it comes before everything else in life...you can get a new job, and a new car and new friends, bu finding the one again isnt so easy... i had to learn this the hard way, but im glad i did...im glad i fought for it, because my life is great now...and the only certain thing in my life is my family...
  8. it's not good to argue everyday, thats obvious, my wife and I argue from time to time, but i believe in the talk it out method, im too much of a grown man to fight about everything...my theory is, everything can be talked out, so instead of fighting we normally just talk things through openly, even if it stings alittle...it's always been a stipulation in my relationships, i've told all the women in my life that im not going to sit around and be yelled at like a bitch, im a grown man with grown plans, i've got things on my plate and i cant be brought down because i forgot to buy sour cream on the way home or i didn't drop something off at the post office... it's just understood that certain things just aren't worth fighting over... luckily my wife is one of the better ones around, and she deals with me, my son and the daily everyday stuff in life and she never skips a beat...been married for 6 years now and it's only getting better for me...if you love one another, make it work...the best things in life are achieved, not dropped in your lap...good luck...
