jl audio is too damn overpriced. save yourself some money and make a wall of 18" btl or re xxx you will be glad you did.

im sure adding an extra amp would work but you might overpower those subs

yea amp would get hot, but its not like the sub was distorting and smelling so i thought the amp would be alright. once the amp is fixed ill be getting a 2nd battery and a new alternator to help it out.

it was just running off one battery, so the 2nd one should do the trick. I'm not sure if upgrading my alternator will make a big difference

yea local radio places in memphis suck, and i'm impatient

150 for them to send it, memphis fixes it, sends it back . just 150 for fixing sending etc

bought it off ebay but the guy lived locally to me (memphis) and it was wired at 1ohm. a local place is sending it to memphis audio for 150$

my memphis mc 1000d fried. just great. was pushin 1 re sx 15" clarion head unit, needed a 2nd battery but i never got one. so its fried. anyone here know how to fix? or i could just send it to memphis but i'll check here first. IM FUCKING MAD

ok so i have 1 Re SX 15" hooked to a memphis mc 1000d , clarion head unit, just bought a new battery, and getting an upgraded alternator soon, but i was told i need a capacitor. I have a line driver coming in, but it always feels like to i need to upgrade something. Is a capacitor necessary or should i not worry about one? ( car was running fuckin slow with ac/sub bumpin. help me =]!
