no its a GM and i jus need the remote im not going to put a new deck in it jus helping a friend and we are at a lost as to how we are going to get the remote to run other than a switched typ deal

cigarette lighter is constant i tried fuse box for radio but that alwasy getting power.

anybody have any ideas on a good place to get remote power to turn on the amp in a G5 its a factory stereo and currently remote is being ran from the AC ignition but that isnt working too well.. any help?

I have two runs of 14g on my BL no distortion or loss sounds good to me.

this idea wasnt meant to go in place of my alarm the car has an alarm and if that goes off I'll handle that this is incase they are casing the car and are tinkering before they get in so I have a head start to cut them off. I ccw so i would go stop them after calling the boys. Thanks

I think its the ground it doesnt like the ground it had anymore. its weird because nothing with the wire has changed it was still secure and still firm. but when moved decided to come on briefly.

I hope not the amp isnt even a year old and i have even been nice to it lol. But i will go out and check the ground and power i shall return shortly.

Any ideas what it could be? it cut in the middle of a song it wasnt playing to loud when it cut maybe 3/5 of max volume at the deck no lights on the amp are on no fuses blown. and i even checked the remote wire its good. wtf??

why does it sound dumb just thinking of something else i can do besides my alarm incase they kno a way to not set it off to get the heads up on any would be theifs

anybody thought about putting a baby moniter in the car at night to give you a heads up if someone gets in your car?

I also Drive a Volvo S60 and have managed to fit a FI 15 BL in the trunk tight squeze but can be done and without problems. are both of thoose amps for the BL?

So nobody knows how long it takes for one of these to be built and shipped? I ordered Friday. Please Help im Anxious
