About Me

Ever since the first person let me play with the volume control of a stereo I have never stopped playing with the equalisers of every stereo I was aloud t play with, My goal was & is to find the limit of every stereo to the point where it could go the loudest & sounded nice without hurting the drivers, I have killed a few speakers, horns and some sub woofers, pushing them to the max. I got a pa stereo from a sound engineer who has a recording studio who also provides stereo's & tunes them in few club around where I live, he has setup reasonable sized concerts for some bands in Australia, long story short I asked him to build me A stereo I said $5 000 is that enough he said I can make you a loud one for $3 500 I went ok I have spent $3 500 on stereo as is Eclipse CD5000, Fusion 15" 2650 watt max, Clarion DPX11500 and a pair of Eclipse components 6.5" 1" powered by a Truck battery 750 CCA. The stereo he put together was Behringer a pair of 350 watt pa 15" with horns self powered, 18" 1800 watts max crossover, compressor, equaliser and a amp was 2500 watt x 2, so the test was on car vs pa volume and refinement of the quality of sound pa won as for the bass the car setup killed it so the car sub got put on the pa amp it sounded really nice, my friend said the 18" was better I said you are dreaming, I tested them against each other same same the fusion lives on the behringer died that day. I was running a presouns audio interface as well. this was my 5th stereo I'm up to number 7 now.
