  1. first off, use lexan for a sub box, it's much stronger than plexi.

second, if you want to light up just the acrylic, put the LED's on the outside edges of the plexi.

third, the only way i know to wire them is to run positive to the remote terminal on the amp, then negative to the ground.

i suppose you could do this with any switched 12v source and a grounding point.

I generally go for lexan, just call it plexi for general definition. Oh and a little off topic but your avatar makes me sick lol

  2. pretty cool, how did you go about getting/making that membrane?

The lower liquid holding part I made with Plexiglas, the upper part is actually some 1/8 MDF with a clock face mounted in the middle with everything elevated by springs. The curvature of the clock face penetrates the surface of the water showing the main bubble, the other waves come from the air pushing in and out the port. It is really neat in person.

  3. I didnt go that in depth in my 90 second limited pitch, it was more important to establish what the idea is to people that don't have as much an understanding of paintball like me and you. Obviously in a matrix with a more complicated bolt system there would be more design requirements, but in something like an angel its simply a smaller diameter on the front of the bolt...

  4. So our school had a contest to come up with a cool business idea as part of their "Innovation Challenge". I had a cool paintball related idea, and I think my video has the best production quality. I spent a lot of time on it so it would help me a lot of you guys watch it out and rate it for me. Thanks for all the help!!
