Thats another issue. Max at my kenwood is max volume, i believe thats 40. I then tested it threw my sundown 500.4 and max volume from head unit is only 31 before distortion. Ill have to try new battery and start all over

I will defenatly try that but, this was a brand new pack of energiser. some times the low batt light comes on and sometimes not so I will get a new one and try that. Thanks

Im trying to set up my system. My problem is when I use my DD1 to set the gain on my sony XEC1000 electronic cross over I show distortion before the DD1 shows a signal or detects the frequency. I also have an harmon kardon electronic cross over and I get the same results. Any ideas on whats going on?
