I want to ask if someone can enlighten me as to what motors are on these custom built subs I picked up. Also I have an issue on one of the subs, the one coil reads 2.0 ohms on the lead wire ends but the other side does not read anything, so I took the dust cap off the sub and put the mm leads directly to the spots on the voice coil former and I am getting 2 ohms. Going from the voice coil former positive to the end of the lead I have continuity. Same goes for the negative side from voice coil former terminal to the end of the lead I have continuity? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I have included some pictures of the magnets and their size these things weigh about 45-50 lbs each. Also I included some pictures of the sub I took the dustpan off and the voice coil former points I took the reading off. The one side measures 2 ohms just fine at the end of the leads but the other side does not read anything at the end of the leads but reads 2.0 ohms on the former itself and so does each lead wire from the former to the end of the lead wire????
