my walls 21" deep so how deep can i make my port before its to close to the back.

well im having trouble now because in order to tune it right and get 100in^2 im having to make the port almost as long as the box is. how close can i get to the back wall with the port before it messes shit up.

i was thinking about changing it to 7" tall 16" wide and 24" deep. that would put me at 32hz.

so what should i do to modify it because i knew it could get way louder i mean dont get me wrong its wanging pretty hard but i know it can do more. my box is 11.75ft3 so what do i need to make my port to get the most out of it and tune it to around 30hz.

his honda build man he only has 2 and its basically just like my setup. i have an acura integra walled off with 2 fi 18's.

hey whats up guys i think i did something wrong building my wall for my acura. i just looked at meades build and his port is so much bigger then mine its weirding me out. my dimensions are 4" tall 8" wide and 3.75 deep. is this to small and is it robbing me of some dbs because i think my shit should be louder then it is.

6000 watts makes a very nice daily driver i must say. i ride around with my system slapping all day its just perfect.

alright thanks i will go give that a try in a few mins because i am about to leave. i will pm you with the results . last system was sealed but im thinkin about meade slapping out to hypnotize and mine doesnt i mean dont get my wrong it beats the rockford system but deff not anywhere near full tilt.

on the head unit or on the amps? because i believe my other setting is about 120 not 80. cant remember if its hp or lp on the sundown.

a kenwood head unit and i dont see how i tuned my amps wrong because i got my sub sonic right below my box tuning and my other half way where sundown said most people put it. and i doubt its that because like i said i can hit low and high freqs with songs that do slap.

yea i played with my head unit all day yesterday with the lp and hp and couldnt tell a difference either way i turned it and i can play songs with deep lows like beats to my van and highs like wrist out the window but some songs just dont beat. and yes put on by jeezy slams hard. and its not because my subs are 18 its gotta be with the song or amps because my subs just arnt getting any power on those songs. they barely move and im running over 6000 watts.

My old system was two rockford p3's 15"s with a 800 watt amp. my new system is 2 fi btl 18's with two sundown 3000ds. The songs that used to bang on my old system and songs that should bang really loud just dont seem to have any base to them. My subs dont come out hardly at all and my voltage barely drops at all. What is causing this difference. Examples of songs are almost all the gorilla zoe songs and jeezy hypnotize doesnt beat much either.

yea ate one today matter of fact and was highly disappointed. it was not hot the slightest bit. good for 89 cents though. someone verify this theory ive had. fire sauce is no hotter then hot just thicker. i put like 5 packs of fire on a soft taco and shit still aint hot. but i just took a fat duce. god i love taco hell.

yea i love the knob its all good now just glad i didnt thermal those bad boys from clipping them so bad but they seemed to handle it quite well. still knockin since i last turned them off. just wish i woulda gone with the rf t4000s instead. the btls love that power

no idea it made a half double edit of one post i only hit button once my bad.

i had 2 sundown 3000s strapped to 2 btl 18s fully loaded and set my gain with my dmm with the bass knob only half way up. :censored: so as you guess they were getting clipped pretty bad and took it for probably 30 mins on and off today before i realized what i had done and changed it back to 109.5v full tilt. im just makin this thread for everyone who had a doubt about the capabilities of btls they can really handle some abuse.

sundown ftw. just hooked mine up and these babies throw some power out. you can see my system specs in my sig and my volatage drop is 13.2 from 14.3 with both of them.

tryed both amps both work sep. took those rcas back and got the rockford dual twist and now my amp doesnt go into protect it or my speakers make a high hiss sound i have no idea whats going on. ive gone over my wiring countless times and everything is right. ima email sundown hopefully hell hit me up tomorrow.
