I got 2 new 1 ohm subs. Meant to wire into 1 ohm in series, but put jumper wire from ground to positive on same coil. Subs were smoking within minutes. All coils still ohm out stable around 1ohm, I dont see burn marks but the coils are coated black from factory, no noise or weird behavior when I press down on the cones. They both still stink 16 hours later. Do both need to be reconed or since there is no mechanic noise and they ohm out they should be fine?
